To Make Ragi Murukku

Method:
1. Take ragi flour, rice flour, besan flour, salt, hing, sesame seeds in a bowl and mix well.
2. Add unsalted butter and mix again.
3. Gradually add water to this mixture and prepare the dough.
4. Pour oil enough for deep frying in a kadai and heat it.
5. Take little portions of the dough and put in the murukku maker.
6. Make murukkus in desired shape on a flat ladle greased with oil.
7. Transfer the prepared murukku into the hot oil and fry until the oil stops sizzling on a medium flame.
8. Remove the ragi murukkus from the kadai once they are done.
9. That’s all crunchy and tasty Ragi murukku is ready to be served and enjoyed.

A very nice ragi muru recipe which anybody can munch on anytime they want without any guilt so let’s get started and check out this healthy raggy snack recipe for the ragi M I’ve taken 2 cups of ragi flour that is the millet flour the finger millet flour so I’ve taken
The 250 ml cup measurement 2 cups of this next add half2 cup of rice flour so this is a 125 ml cup cup I’ve taken this next add 2 tbsp of basin next add 1 and 1/2 tasp of salt half tpoon Hing or ASA powder 2 taspo sesame seeds so I’ve
Taken the white sesame seeds now mix everything well so using your hand just mix everything so to this I’m adding half teaspoon of unsalted softened butter you can also add salted butter if you have that so I’ve taken one cup of water I’m just going to gradually pour the water
And start mixing the dough so the water is at room temperature so once you’ve mixed the dough if you need a little more I’m going to add just a little bit more so mix everything it’s all well combined the dough should be moist it should not be
Dry so now you can see youve got a nice pable dough it’s nice and soft this is the consistency that you’re looking for so now I’ve taken a circular pattern plate I’m placing it at the bottom of the mku press just seal that so once I open the top of the mku
Press I’m just going to put a little bit of the dough into the cylinder close the mku Press you probably have a different one at home so whichever you have at home just use that pour enough oil in a nice white Karai to make the murus so here’s an easy method that I’m
Going to show you to make these murus so just grease a little bit of oil to the back side of the spatula and just press the mku maker to get the desired shape so once you’ve made these gently drop it into the hot oil just make a few more and gently drop
It into the hot oil deep fry the murus till the sizzling stops that’s a good indication that the mku cooked through completely once the murus are done remove them from the hot oil just place it on a paper tissue for all that excess oil to drain make all the murus
In this manner you’ll probably get a batch of 15 so you can make these delicious and healthy homemade ragi that is the fingermillet murus and enjoy it anytime you want what better way to celebrate the festive season with homemade snacks and savories I’ll give you a couple of links to the other muru
