Most of them are also pretty healthy I’d say: Chocolate Almond Protein Bars (without protein powder), Lazy Potato Waffles, a bunch of Fancy Toast Ideas and more!

INGREDIENTS
#1 Chocolate Mintshake
1-2 frozen bananas
2-3 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder, or to taste
a pinch of salt
optional: 1 tsp liquid sweetener, or to taste
~ â…“ cup cold strong peppermint tea (~80ml)
→ serves 1
#2 Chocolate Almond Protein Bites
1/2 cup small cut oats or oat flour (50g)
2 tbsp hemp powder
3 tbsp pumpkin seeds, or ground
2 tbsp sunflower seeds
2 tbsp flax seeds, ground
1 1/2 tbsp cocoa, unsweetened
a generous pinch of salt
¼ tsp cinnamon or gingerbread spice or skip it
1/2 cup almond butter (120g)
1/4 cup apple sauce (62g)
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 tbsp rice, agave, maple or date syrup
½ cup dark chocolate chips (100g = 3.5oz)
→ yields 6-8 bars or bites or cookies
#3 Random Spicy Toast
toast
vegan butter
gochujang
pickles
sesame seeds
spinach
#4 Fancy Nutella Berry Toast
toast
vegan hazelnut spread
vegan yogurt
frozen berries
optional: drizzle of liquid sweetener, seeds, puffed quinoa etc.
#5 Oreo Banana Toast
1 banana mashed
4 oreo cookies
1 tbsp coconut flour or shredded coconut
2-4 pieces of toast
→ serves 2 as a spread or 1 as a pudding snack
#6 Healthy Lime or Lemon Sherbets
grapes, frozen
lime or lemon juice (and pulp if you want?)
let the grapes covered in juice freeze over for a couple minutes, then enjoy
#7 Cucumber Pumpkin Seed Snack
cucumber
pumpkin seeds
salt and other spices to taste
a drizzle of pumpkin seed oil
#8 Roasted Nut Mix
a handful of almonds
2 handfuls of cashews
1 handful of sunflower seeds
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
chili flakes to taste (i did a generous pinch)
salt to taste
2 tsp olive oil
optional: other spices such as turmeric powder, garlic powder …
#9 Lazy Potato Waffles
small to medium sized potatoes, boiled with the skin on
oil for the waffle maker
for the dip:
~â…“ cup unsweetened soy yogurt or vegan sour cream (80ml)
1 tbsp white wine vinegar
a pinch of salt
pinch of cumin
¼ tsp black pepper, or more to taste
this dip should be enough to serve 1-2

Hi hello welcome back to another recipe video today we’ve got a bunch of super low effort vegan snack ideas to go through most of which come from you guys my brain only contributed like two ideas here so thank you so much to all the people sharing their knowledge in the comment section
Um yeah as always if you’ve got a snack idea that you think i should try out next can be a weird one then leave it in a comment let’s begin this is my mic hello okay so this first idea comes from betty it’s for this delicious mint chocolate milkshake or chocolate mint shake
Mine was particularly fancy because we had some fresh mint at home so i made my tea by you know pouring hot water over the mint and letting that sit for a while i actually let this sit until cooled completely but feel free to remove the mint
Or the tea bag a bit sooner if you prefer a less strong flavor then to a blender or food processor simply add one to two frozen bananas Some unsweetened cacao powder and some of the cold tea betty says to blend up the banana and cacao first at the same time until ice cream consistency has been achieved but i feel like it should also be fine to blend up all the ingredients at once
I ended up adding about a third of a cup of the tea bit by bit until i was happy with the consistency after taste testing this i also added a pinch of salt and about a teaspoon of agave but that is optional This is really good some people asked for high protein snacks that don’t require protein powder so here’s one those are some delicious chocolate almond protein bites which according to my sister tastes like gingerbread cookies so perfect for this time of year a food processor is not essential in
This you can also just combine everything by hand yeah the end result will most likely be more like muesli bars then combine the dry ingredients first small cut oats or oat flour hemp powder or hemp seeds pumpkin seeds ground or unground sunflower seeds ground of flax seeds unsweetened cacao powder
A pinch of salt and then i wanted to add a little bit of cinnamon but i was only able to find gingerbread spice hence the christmassy flavor in this but feel free to skip this blend or mix by hand then add your wet ingredients unsweetened applesauce vanilla liquid sweetener and almond butter And then shape this mix into bars or squares or cookies the dough should be really easy to work with if it’s a bit too wet for some reason add some more oat flour or ground up Seeds feel free to leave them bare but if you don’t mind them to be a bit more indulgent you can dip them into a bowl of melted dark chocolate using two forks that works best or simply just drizzle a tiny bit of chocolate over all the bites let them rest in the
Fridge until set i think it takes at least like 30 minutes and then enjoy i honestly don’t know which ones i like better um these ones here or the ones that i made with protein powder a couple months ago i mean those are peanut butter flavored so you can’t really compare the two
But i’ll leave a link to that recipe in the description store them sealed in the fridge for up to five days or keep them in your freezer for a couple weeks here’s a random little toast idea i made this for myself last week when i had close to zero food in my fridge
A piece of bread from the freezer toasted spread with some vegan butter bit of gochujang the vegan butter tones down the spiciness a little bit so those two work really really well together i think and then i added some chopped pickles sesame seeds and the last bit of spinach i could find
While we’re on the topic here’s some more toast that he is toasted whole wheat bread topped with some sort of chocolate hazelnut spread plain yogurt frozen berries maybe also some puffed quinoa because it looks adorable and some liquid sweetener of choice if you want i really enjoyed this i love the the
Tartness of the berries and the soy yogurt in combination with the sweet nutella so good this screenshot here has been in my camera roll for a while now i think i saw it on tumblr last year that one time i was on tumblr last year first i mashed up one banana
And added one tablespoon of coconut flour to it uh we happen to have that at home um but yeah just use like shredded coconut instead i wasn’t too sure about the one-to-one oreo to banana ratio they’re giving us here and so to the one mashed banana i added four oreo cookies
Mixing everything up with a fork it’s definitely a bit tricky at first one of these grinder mortar thingies might actually be more useful here it tastes as you’d expect sweet delicious but i bet that snack hacks used way more cookies that’s probably why it looks so much
Nicer than mine i mean this might as well just be refried beans i i tried saving the aesthetic here by adding some frozen raspberries to it which worked okay i guess maya suggests trying out frozen grapes topped with lots of lime juice and lime pulp the lime juice freezes at contact
To make for a delicious sour grape lime sugar batch situation when i read that first my mind went straight to dumbledore yeah i only had lemon but it still worked beautifully super simple and refreshing i definitely have to try out the sorbet version you were talking about here another super quick
Healthy snack was sent in by avira um cucumber slices pumpkin seeds salt and or other spices and pumpkin seed oil pumpkin seed oil has a very distinct almost bitter strange but still kind of good tasting flavor to it i hardly ever use this yes solid solid healthy snack idea next up i tried
Out mahan’s savory snack option here to a large mixing bowl i added some almonds some cashews and sunflower seeds also some nutritional yeast chili flakes and olive oil plus a pinch of salt you can also add some garlic turmeric powder onion powder i transferred the nuts to this oval shaped baking tin
And then let this roast for 8 to 10 minutes at 180 degrees celsius i let them cool off a bit um before eating them they were very good especially with the nutritional yeast last but not least we’ve got these lazy potato waffles here leftover steamed potatoes with the skin on pressed into
A hot waffle iron i made sure to thoroughly grease the waffle maker then i added two cooked potatoes quite a bit of pressure was needed here to get this to go all the way down i let them crisp up for about five minutes on medium high
And then i serve them with this black pepper yogurt dip i saw this brand of yogurt at etika recently shout out to the to their graphic design team yeah only reason i chose this one was the packaging but it did not disappoint it actually tasted really good as well
And it worked really nicely in this savory recipe so i mixed together some of this unsweetened plain salt yogurt with white wine vinegar salt cumin and almost too much black pepper This was really good i mean it is just crispy potatoes but they’re you know shaped in a fun way highly recommend the only downside is cleaning the waffle iron later and that kind of makes this recipe a bit less low effort in the end unless you have
One of those waffle makers that allows you to take the plates out and put them in the dishwasher i don’t have one of those and it pains me every single time alright that is it for this quick snack video thank you so much for watching thanks to all the people participating in this
