Hello everyone welcome to home cooking with nehema subramanian sandwiches are always fun and quick to make and there are so many varieties of sandwiches that we can try at home today I am going to share six different variety of sandwich recipes that you can easily make and enjoy at home with your
Family and friends so let’s get started and check these recipes out for the Toasties first I’m gonna make the garlic butter to a bowl take about 100 grams of unsalted butter to this just create some fresh garlic you can take about three to four cloves add one teaspoon of chili flakes and a
Little bit of salt mix everything together so you can add Italian seasoning if you like to the garlic butter as well the garlic butter is ready keep this aside Next I’m going to grate some mozzarella cheese this is about 200 grams of cheese so I’ve just used a medium grater to grate this once you’ve grated the mosula cheese keep this aside next I’m going to make the filling for the Toasties for this to a bowl add one cup of boiled
Sweet corn 1 cup of finely chopped red capsicum 1 cup of finely chopped green capsicum 1 large onion finely chopped two green chillies finely chopped now if you don’t want to add green chilies you can avoid them add some finely chopped garlic add half teaspoon of salt 1
Teaspoon of pepper one teaspoon Italian seasoning one and a half teaspoons of red chili flakes one cup of grated mozzarella cheese next add finely chopped coriander leaves and mix everything together well so you can see those beautiful colors and the flavors are amazing now once you’ve mixed all the ingredients
Together well keep this aside now that we have all the elements to make the Toasties let’s start making them take two slices of bread you can use any bread of your choice generously spread the butter on both the slices now place the prepared vegetable cheese filling on one slice
The other Slice on top and gently press it now we’re going to toast the sandwiches take a pan add a little bit of butter gently place the sandwiches on the pan so I’m toasting two small sandwiches now once the sandwiches are toasting on one side apply a little bit of butter on the
Top close the pan and let the sandwiches toast for a few minutes maintain the flame on a medium low so you can see it’s toasted to a lovely golden brown color now gently flip the sandwiches to the other side close the pan and toast for a few minutes so this
Will help the vegetables to cook and also for the cheese to melt inside wow you can see the cheese is all melted it’s so gooey the best way to enjoy this sandwich is immediately after you’ve toasted it so just cut it into half and you can
Serve it nice and hot with all that wheat cheese melting from inside it’s a very simple and great recipe for everyone especially your kids will love this whenever they’re back from school if you want to make them a quick snack you can make this and give it to them
You can see how beautiful the cheese is melted from inside so you can use any vegetables of your choice for this filling I’ve served these sandwiches with some ketchup by the side you can enjoy it as is but make sure you serve it nice and hot I’ve made

Sandwiches are ready let’s start assembling the sandwiches white sandwich bread you can use any bread of your choice spread a generous amount of unsalted butter you can also use salted butter if you like next spread a generous amount of minted coriander Chutney evenly on top of the bread
Now Place The Boiled potato slices sprinkle some of the Masala powder on top next place the fresh onion slices sprinkle some Masala powder on top of the onion slices spread more butter onto another slice of bread also spread the minted coriander chutney spread some more butter on top of the slice of bread
Spread another layer of the mint and coriander Chutney on top now place the fresh tomato slices and sprinkle it with some Masala powder Place some fresh cucumber slices sprinkle some Masala powder on top to the last slice of bread spread some generous amount of butter and mint in coriander Chutney evenly
So we’re going to finish off by adding some grated cheese so I’m using modular cheese you can use any cheese of your choice close the sandwich with the final slice of bread Next we’re going to grill the sandwich to a grilled pan spread generous amount of unsalted butter place the prepared sandwich on top brush some butter on all the sides Grill it for a few minutes so once it turns to a nice golden brown color on one side gently flip it to the
Other side brush some more butter onto the pan brush the sides of the bread with some butter so there you go the sandwich is ready removed from the grill pan cut it into half and serve it hot immediately wow look at those layers they look absolutely fantastic you can
See the lovely Chutney and the vegetables and the cheese it’s a perfect grilled sandwich so there you go here this is delicious Bombay style grilled sandwich which is a must try For the egg mixture I’m taking 2 eggs to this I’m going to add half cup of milk this is boiled in cold milk add a quarter teaspoon of salt quarter teaspoon pepper whisk it nicely till it’s all well combined To the plate pour the egg mixture so next Heat a pan add a little bit of butter so you need to maintain the flame on a medium low just dip the bread into the egg mixture make sure it’s coated on both sides place it on the pan
Cook on one side for about a minute Now flip it to the other side place a slice of cheese take another slice dip it in the egg mixture place it on the cheese slice flip the sandwich over so just add a little butter on the sides
So make sure you cook the sides to a nice golden color so I’m going to place another slice of cheese on top dip another slice of bread leg mixture and place it on top Just make sure you add a little butter the corners I’m going to flip this to the other side Keeping the flame on a low close the pan and cook it for about two to three minutes The sandwich to the other side close the pan and cook for another two minutes on low Flame so after two minutes you can check on the sandwich so you can see it’s got this lovely golden color on both sides so remove the sandwich and serve it nice and hot foreign First I’m going to make the fillet to a pan add about two teaspoons of oil once the pan is heated add 1 large onion finely chopped 1 tablespoon of garlic finely chopped sauteed for about 2-3 minutes Next I’m adding half cup of finely chopped red and green capsicum just mix it in after about a minute next add about one and a half cups of boiled sweet corn just mix it all in after about two to three minutes I’m going to season it add about half
Teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon pepper one teaspoon Italian seasoning if you don’t have Italian seasoning don’t worry about it you can just season it with some salt and pepper so now the filling for the sandwich is done cool it completely so the mixture has cooled down completely I’m going to add some chopped
Coriander leaves so just mix that in so I’ve added about two tablespoons of mayonnaise you can use either egg or eggless mayonnaise you can adjust the quantity of mayonnaise depending on the mixture you have made so the corn Mayo filling is done keep this aside now we’re going to start making the sandwiches
First cut off the edges of the bread on all sides place a little bit of the cornmeal filling on one slice just spread it out evenly place the other Slice on top and cut it into half or quarters so there you go here are these nice delicious fresh cornmeal sandwiches so
I’ve not toasted these these can be enjoyed as it is it makes for a perfect evening snack you can enjoy it with some nice Juice by the side foreign next I’m going to make the grilled sandwich place the cornmeal filling on one slice spread it out evenly
Place a slice of cheese on top close it with the other slice of bread heat a grilled pan or you can just use your regular pan if you don’t have a grilled pan add a little butter just spread it out place the prepared sandwich on the grill pan so just add a
Little bit of butter on the sides of the bread spread some butter on top of the sandwich you can toast it for about three to four minutes on low flame so once it’s grilled on one side flip it to the other side and toast it for about two to three minutes
Once the sandwich is toasted on both sides removed from the grill pan serve it immediately nice and hot you can see the cheese is melted it looks absolutely gorgeous so here is this absolutely delicious and cheesy cornmeal sandwich it makes for a perfect evening snack or A light meal
Like I said and it also makes for a great lunchbox recipe foreign Salad sandwich first I’m going to make the dressing to a bowl add 3 4 cup of eggless mayonnaise now if you do have egg mayonnaise you can use that as well next add a teaspoon of the mustard paste or the mustard sauce next add 1 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of pepper
And one and a half teaspoons of sugar next add the juice of 1 medium sized lemon and mix everything well till it’s all well combined So after mixing everything you can check for seasoning at this point and if you do need to add any particular seasoning you can add that keep the dressing aside so I have some nice fresh vegetables here for the coleslaw so if you see all the vegetables have been very thinly cut
Up mostly like juliennes so make sure whenever you’re making this particular coleslaw that the vegetables are nicely cut into nice thin juliennes to a large bowl add one bowl of thinly shredded cabbage 1 bowl of thinly shredded purple cabbage 1 carrot that’s been cut into Julian’s 1 small onion thinly sliced now
Onion is actually optional if you don’t want it you can do it without it one medium sized green capsicum count Julian’s finally add the red capsicum you can see all the vegetables how fresh and juicy they are now add the prepared salad dressing and mix all the vegetables with the dressing
Make sure it’s all coated well So make sure whenever you’re making this particular salad all the vegetables are very nicely cleaned and they’re all nice and fresh Wow you can see the salad dressing has coated the vegetables so beautifully so now that the coleslaw is ready let’s start making the sandwiches so I’ve taken brown bread you can use any bread of your choice for this particular recipe so cut off the ends of the bread
Take a few spoonful of the coleslaw place it on one slice just spread it out evenly foreign on top cut into triangles wow those coleslaw sandwiches look absolutely fresh and delicious they make for a perfect lunch or a nice light meal you can serve it for a nice evening

Sandwich recipes that I’ve made you can check them out as well Add one tablespoon of oil to this I’m going to add one large onion finely chopped two green chillies finely chopped Saute the onions till they’re transparent Once the onions are transparent add one teaspoon of pound ginger garlic next add half capsicum finely chopped so I’m adding the green capsicum one large tomato finely chopped After sauteing the vegetables for about 5 minutes add quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1 teaspoon garam masala powder 1 teaspoon salt mix everything together For this recipe I’m using 200 grams of paneer grate the fresh paneer into the kadai Mix it all together nicely the paneer burji is done finally add some chopped coriander leaves give it a quick mix Paneer burji is done now I’m going to start assembling the sandwich For the sandwich I’ve taken two slices of white sandwich bread first I’m going to apply some unsalted butter to both the slices so you can either use brown bread or multi-grain bread you can choose any bread of your choice for the sandwich make sure you soften the butter bring it to room temperature
So it’ll be easy to spread just gently spread it on all sides I’m going to spread some mint and coriander Chutney to one slice spread it evenly place a little paneer burji on the bread slice and spread it evenly I’m going to place a slice of cheese on top to close the sandwich
Gently press it so you can eat the sandwich as is and if you’d like it a little toasted or grilled you can do that as well I enjoy a grilled sandwich so I’m just going to grill this sandwich on a grilled pan heat the grill pan just apply a little butter foreign Once it’s grilled on one side I’m just going to grab a little more butter onto the pan Gently flip it over Make sure you grill the sandwich on a medium Heat The sandwich is done serve it nice and hot Thank you
