Today I’m going to try one of the world’s most famous sandwiches here in Florence at Al Antico vinayo even on a rainy day during off season there was a huge line in front of all their four stores that’s on the same street they have so many sandwich options to choose
From and you can even make your own version with toppings you like when you walk in the first thing you’ll notice is all the meat there is salami Mortadella prosciutto porchetta the list goes on I ordered LA brevita with salami Toscano Crema de pepperoni pecorino and arugula
And my mom ordered last summer with prosciutto arugula mozzarella pesto and tomatoes also a quick shout out to the guy who was plugging his homies Instagram there were only eight euros and humongous with incredibly generous portions of filling what’s special about these sandwiches is the bread named skiachiara
It was thin crispy and salty I loved that everything was so fresh and the portions were incredibly generous so if you’re ever visiting floors make sure to go check it out
