Homemade Caesar dressing is simple to make and can be done a few different ways: by hand, in a blender, in a food processor or by using an immersion blender. All methods are simple and quick. I particularly love doing this by hand and enjoy seeing little bits of the garlic and anchovy in the dressing. We are showing you how to make our favorite creamy caesar salad dressing i’m making this by hand in the video but you can speed things up and use a blender or food processor classic caesar dressing needs fresh garlic and anchovies anchovies might not be your favorite ingredient but trust me
It makes this dressing taste amazing we need to chop the garlic and anchovies very small so small that they turn into a paste i do this by mincing and then dragging my knife across them on the cutting board remember if you don’t want to do this by hand a blender or
Processor makes quick work of it okay next we need the base of our dressing we need one egg yolk one teaspoon of dijon mustard and two tablespoons of fresh lemon juice whisk that all together and then slowly add a third cup of neutral oil this is avocado oil
As you slowly stream in the oil and whisk the dressing will thicken and become creamy To finish add the garlic and anchovies as well as four tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese and then season with salt and pepper and that’s it our favorite classic caesar dressing it’s creamy and so flavorful you are going to love it as always the full recipe with lots of tips
