hey everybody welcome back to another
episode of fat Chef slim and today we
are doing a really cool segment called
what’s in your fridge I love that so
we’re going to have a look firstly in
Josh’s fridge to see what’s in his
fridge I’m really looking forward to
this action to see what you have in your
fridge and you if you’ve got any little
secret things that you don’t want no
there’s nothing secret hidden away in my
fridge I can tell you that right now you
there are other people that live in this
house but you know I have to consider
their needs as well but when it comes to
me it’s all healthy come Us in that
fridge so we’ll have a look in your
fridge and then see what you can make
out of what’s in your fridge what
healthy food options you have I think
it’s good like said you know you come
home from a cycle or you come home from
exercise or even from work and you go to
the fridge and you look through the
fridge you I’ll order a pizza where
there are other options so today’s a
chance to take a look in my fridge and
see a few things that we can cook out of
there let’s have a
[Music]
look oh there you go welcome to my
fridge as you can see everything in
there’s lovely and healthy ah it looks
actually it does look like everything’s
yummy you’ve got lots in your fridge
actually okay so what are you thinking
what do you want me to cook I’m just
looking at what you’ve gotten here
you’ve got Tomatoes there he is oh
you’ve got hummus over the back there
you’ve got what have you you got here oh
just a little like sour cream oh you got
tofu I do I do love tofu tofu is very
important nice form protein that beeping
is the fridge right yeah that beeping is
the fridge what else have you got here o
roasted
cap very nice that’s what we had um
that’s what we had in the Greek salad
the salad yeah correct you got
that you’ve got like pre-made meals here
yeah this one’s quite a good one though
uh cuz it’s calorie controlled it’s
vegan and it’s totally healthy for you
so you I’ve gone in specifically found
meals so if I don’t actually feel like
cooking I can actually grab myself
something few minutes in the microwave
and she’s ready to go chickpea turmeric
Curry Happy Days oh you got another one
yeah chicken noodle stir fry y oh I know
we’re not supposed to be looking at
ready made meals no once again look this
is a normal fridge you know normal
people live in this house you know
chicken stair fry is good there’s a
whole thing of cheese there Grana Grana
is always important to have in a house
oh oh oh oh and look at
this a big bunch of curly kale leafy
greens are the greatest thing in the
world for you I noticed on the last
session that we did that Janet
complained and she said she didn’t think
curly Cal was any good so therefore I
reckon we should knock up some curly cow
chips eh I reckon yeah I re that would
be good St cuz you’ve got what you got
salmon you’ve got something mother got
those green stuff down like celery
celery loads of veggies yeah little baby
CES great in your homus for a snack by
the way you have you have a really fun
yummy how about some
asparagus and we could roast some
broccolini go with that one roast some
broccolini with some asparagus on some
hummus with some sourdough toast might
be quite nice and um I don’t know if I
can say this on camera or not but does
um does asparagus make your pee stink
yeah yeah asparagus does make that years
ago we won’t go into that but yeah no i’
got to be in the mood for asparagus
definitely awesome all right so we’re
going to do some right so we’re going to
do some crispy kale uh into chips for a
snack we’re going to do some asparagus
with some air fried broccolini some
radishes on homus for a second thing
what third thing that you want there’s
spinach we do something with that I do
love spinach I eat spinach every day
like massive wood we could do some
spinach we could just do a spinach
omelet oh yum yeah yeah how would that
be look what I just
found look everybody that’s
Bob it’s not mine definitely not mine
sure that’s Bob hey Bob yeah no just Bob
but what’s little
brother look at that guys Bilby that’s a
chocolate bil chocolate Bilby not mine
got nothing to do with me I don’t eat
any of that stuff do we believe him do
we believe him we’ll just see we’ll just
make the healthy stuff eh what just
sayat this excellent good stuff all
right okay let’s get into it
[Music]
K just pull it off the stems off the
stalks until you have a nice bowl of
kale and that is done and then a splash
of olive oil some people put a little
sugar on this I don’t like it myself but
a little bit of oil little bit of
salt Salt’s a little fabulous
thing going to put a little bit of
pepper on there as as well and only cuz
I like it a little bit of garlic powder
that a little shake and that is that
Kale’s going to go into the air fryer
kale something I quite like doing in the
air fryer cuz it’s really quick however
you can also do it in an oven just takes
a little bit longer so with this I do it
a whole
200° and we do it for 5 minutes in the
meantime we’re going to come over and
knock off some spinach
a little bit of oil in the
base so spinach is just sweating down
for The Omelette and we don’t want it to
be wet so we’ll leave it in a coland to
[Music]
dry salt there again that’s waiting for
the asparagus all these things healthy
and green as
well you notice all these things are
being multiply
done broccoli
is now ready to go into the air fryer
which once again can also go into the
oven
however the other thing I like with my
broccolini is a little bit of dried
chili so that’s ready to go when the cow
comes
out broccolini as well just like doing
it in the air fryer cuz nice and quick
however more than happy to do it in the
[Music]
cuz we’re in
Australia peace
[Music]
sadly I don’t make my own hummus folks I
do make it but yeah not for everyday use
a little bit of a spag and peas just on
top just to finish it off and there you
go that’s dish number
[Music]
two spinach is fantastic really good for
your Bloods and your sugars I love it
we’re going to have a fair bit of
spinach in our omelette
[Music]
salt again with pepper splodge
[Music]
milk so we’re just going to let that sit
only cuz I want the heat to go through
it a bit quicker
saraphina come eat oh my goodness so
here we go so this took about 20 minutes
to knock up for Janet we have the
delightful curly kale chips you want to
try those first cuz that’s a little
snacky option A because I saw the
message she sent a comment and you
didn’t she said K chips yeah she was a
bit like it’s horse food what are you
doing oh this is really yummy they’re
really tasty it’s crunchy and
it crunchy tasty healthy full of fiber
and all the nutrients stay in it in the
air fry so you don’t blow anything off
and really moish like you know like with
chips how you just want to keep eating
them happy days I want to keep eating
okay okay I stop eating so that you can
carry on talking next piece of CH butter
was some hummus there’s some asparagus I
threw some peas in because we got to
have a little bit of australiana with us
and then the broccolini I’ve just
roasted off with a little bit of chili
and a little bit of garlic some radishes
just to top off dig in now this is
really interesting because you put
radish on the top and I have never seen
radish yeah radish like that radish is a
fantastic uh little thing that people
don’t get into that much but I love the
damn things little radish cuz it gives a
little bit more a little bit of color a
little bit of fiber and more of a bite
yeah a little bit of bite helps with the
flavor now how do I do I eat it like
this or you can do it like that you can
pick it up I don’t care just eat
it like I feel like I’m going to make
more I’m not sure how I’m going to make
more of a mess all right let’s try this
way feel like I should use my hands well
use your hands if you want if you manage
to cut through a piece and then pick it
up in your pores a there we go yeah
there you go nice and crusty and then
that and then that and then that I want
a bit of that
radish okay you need a bit of the
broccoli too oh and some broccoli yeah
yeah and a bit of the asparagus cuz
remember what it
does I’m certainly not letting you leave
the house without that that’s for sure
I’m going to try and put all of this in
my mouth I did B chop off a big chunk
but let’s just go for it okay maybe
don’t film me doing
this there you go oh yeah it’s
in nice
hey and again seriously healthy you the
other day I actually made a sub out of
broccolini I roasted off some broccolini
with some chili and put some provolone
over the top of it with some rocket and
put that in a crusty roll so instead of
having IR and meatballs which are loaded
full of fat uh it was quite nice this is
so good I’m just going to use my fingers
for this one but this is so yummy we
knocked up a spinach and cheese omelette
that uh saraphina told us the love of
spinach was there so we decided to do
that and now it’s time to dig in oh this
looks
amazing look at that cheese and and so
cheese is fine like you know people who
are wanting to be on the weight loss and
and a little bit of cheese is fine
little bit of cheese is fine yeah really
good generally white cheese is better
off so things like cottage cheese feta
those sorts of things better off however
with this one spinach and cheese quite
common and into a nice omelette no color
on The Omelette so that it melts in your
mouth it does it’s so yummy and I love
spinach is my favorite in the whole
world and and spinach is great good
amount of fiber to it good for your
cholesterol good for your Bloods good
for everything you know the other thing
too is it only took 20 minutes to knock
this up so okay I get it I’m a chef you
know normal people out there out chefs
so I’d say best time 45 minutes to an
hour you can knock all this up the curly
Cale chips that’s something you can
knock up and it’ll hold for 2 or 3 days
in airtight container a Cher butter with
sort of like a brisca fuel on it again
the veggies don’t take long the hommus
is out of the fridge so you can really
knock that up with 5 minutes in your
toaster and your happy days again the
omelet is probably the thing that takes
a little bit of time cuz we had to cook
the spinach off ahead but yeah you could
do a mushroom omelette you could do some
stir Fred veg or some julan veg and toss
that through with a little bit of Thai
Spice and put that in there there’s a
million things you can do with an
omelette and eggs are the Glorious
protein that they are I’m looking
forward to um turning the camera off and
going but this is amazing like and like
you said 20 minutes or so even like if
you’re not a chef bet you it’s just it’s
quick to put together healthy delicious
um yeah that’s amazing doesn’t take long
so you in the time that’s it’s taken me
to cook that take the same time as
picking up and going 0800 0800 Dollar
Pizza uh you know by the time your Uber
gets here you probably already eaten
this and ready for bed yeah yeah amazing
well thank you that’s okay and if anyone
else is interested in us looking in your
fridge
and Josh cooking something amazing from
what’s in your fridge then yeah get in
touch cuz challenge accepted you know
I’d love to do this I think it’d be fun
and finding out also about other
cyclists and what they eat yeah I’d love
that as well like what do you eat yeah
what’s what keeps you going what fuels
your rides and your days so awesome all
right we’ll see you in the next episode
bye
[Music]
CIA have I got any spinach in my teeth
