Baked Cheesy Egg Bagels

Ingredients –

12 Bagels: any flavor bagel will do. We
chose to use cheesy bagels
24 Eggs
1-2 Cups of Sharp Cheddar Cheese,
shredded
12 Pieces of Bacon, chopped
Salt & Pepper
Parsley for garnish

Method –

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook the chopped bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove your bacon and set aside.
3. Slice the bagels in half and scoop out a bit of the bagel from the center to make a larger hole, enough to fit an egg.
4. Place the bagel halves on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and a little olive oil. Crack an egg into the center of each bagel. The egg will spread out on top and underneath, but that’s okay!
5. Sprinkle the top with shredded sharp cheddar cheese and the chopped bacon, then season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Carefully place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the eggs are cooked to your desired doneness and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
7. Remove the bagels from the oven and let them cool slightly.
8. Garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh touch. Serve immediately and enjoy!
