foreign [Music] welcome back to my channel in this video let’s learn how to make stuffed portobello mushrooms let’s start with the recipe I’ve taken a six ounce pack that has two big portobello mushrooms they are low in carbs and high in fiber and are considered one of the top cancer fighting Foods on the planet carefully remove its skills you just need to be careful while doing this because it’s really delicate [Music] and then cut the stem off repeat the same process for the second mushroom once done clean them with a paper towel and remove any Purity sticking on it [Music] good job [Music] I’m discarding the gills finely chop the stems we’ll be using this for the filling [Music] taste the mushroom heads in an oven safe skin add some olive oil to it I’m also adding a little bit of salt at this stage but you can always add it later once it’s baked spread the oil evenly on both the sides [Music] all right [Music] after coating both the mushrooms with oil they are ready to go in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 14 to 15 minutes or till they are tender mushrooms are getting baked let’s quickly make the filling heat a heavy bottom Skillet once hot add some olive oil to this add two cloves of finely chopped garlic saute it for a few seconds and then add 1 4 cup of finely chopped onions saute these also for a few seconds and then add the chopped stems of the mushroom saute it again for some time then to this I’ve added half a cup of peppers I’ve taken red green and yellow [Music] add a little bit of salt 1 4 teaspoon of Italian seasoning and half a teaspoon of ketchup adding ketchup is optional but it gives a very nice Tangy taste to the filling after cooking it for a few more seconds turn off the gas in the end I’ve added a cup of roughly chopped baby spinach and chard feel free to replace it with any other green leafy vegetable you have in hand you do not want to overcook these veggies there should be a little crunch in it filling is ready let’s keep it on the side it’s been approximately 15 minutes let’s check on the mushroom they look soft and tender time to take them out since we added some salt if the mushrooms release a little moisture you can always Pat it dry with the help of a paper towel time to add the prepared filling foreign [Music] cheese you can put as much as you like this is ready to go back in the oven at the same temperature that is 350 degrees Fahrenheit for four to five minutes or till the cheese melts it’s been five minutes the cheese also has melted our stuffed portobello mushrooms are ready if you have liked this recipe don’t forget to hit the like button it not only helps with YouTube algorithm but it also keeps me motivated to share more such recipes with all of you time to take in these mushrooms have an intense flavor and a meaty texture hence they’re a great substitute for meat [Music] it tastes so good if you are new to my channel welcome don’t forget to hit the Subscribe button also click on the Bell icon so you get an update when I upload a new recipe thanks for watching foreign come on
