CHICKEN BURGER
SERVES – 4
INGREDIENTS
Burger buns – 4 nos
Minced chicken – 250 gms
Chopped mint leaves- 2 tbsp
Chopped coriander leaves- 2 tbsp
Chopped onion- 1 no
Whole egg – 1 no
Crushed black pepper- 1/4 tbsp
Salt – 1/3 tbsp
Mixed herbs – 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder- 1/3 tbsp
Bread slices cut in squares- 3 nos
Butter – 4 tbsp
Sliced onion – 1 no
Sliced tomato – 1 no
Lettuce – for bottom
METHOD OF PREPARATION – Chicken Patties
1. Take a mixer grinder add minced chicken, chopped mint leaves, chopped onion, chopped coriander leaves, whole egg, crushed black pepper, salt, mixed herbs, red chilli powder and bread slices, grind it and make a coarse mixture.
2. Now take a pan or tawa add 1 tbsp butter and add sliced onion and slightly caramelise the onions.
3. Now add another tbsp of butter and toast the burger buns on it.
4. Now take the mixture and shape the burger patties.
5. Now in a pan add 2 tbsp of butter and shallow fry both sides of chicken patties for approx 5 minutes.
6. Now take the toasted buns and spread mayonnaise on both sides of buns and place lettuce and then place chicken patties and top with caramelized onions and sliced tomatoes and close the burger.
7. Serve!!
