hey guys welcome back to my channel I’m Mayra from low carb love now most of you know I’ve lost over 100 pounds So today we’re here at Costco and I’m going to show you some of the best low calorie items that they have so come on let’s [Music] go okay so not all egg whites are created equal now even though these are both made with egg whites that’s why you always want to read your labels read make sure that you know exactly what it is that you’re buying I’ve tried these These are really really good but these have 250 calories for two whereas this one here different brand 150 calories for the two pieces so remember we’re thinking low calorie you’re still getting that protein in you’re getting a nice little snack so of course between the two if we’re going based off calories I’m doing the um egg white bites from starb okay and just like not all egg bites are created equal not all snack bites like these are created equal so even though they’re about the same size this is just some salami and cheese this actually has 310 calories for the Little Packet and this one here we have our chicken bites so this is all chicken all protein this has 140 calories per um per little square so this is 3.2 Oz 140 calories it has 24 g of protein I actually love these as a matter of fact I’m going to take them because these are so easy to throw on a salad sometimes I eat them just as is sometimes I dip them into like some sauce so um these are really really good and for the price you can’t really beat it they’re so much cheaper than even at Trader Joe’s cuz you know your girl like Trader Joe’s but they have such great things here so these are definitely one low in calorie high in protein low carb so we obviously know that fruits and veggies are low in calories high in fiber but I actually thought this was super super cute it’s like a full little tray like if you work if you’re always packing your lunch this has broccoli carrot celery and then the little ranch packet like the only thing I would make my own ranch but the fact that it’s so convenient if I were going somewhere on the go and I’m like okay I’m not going to take my own ranch I’m not going to do that I would definitely do something like that because it’s 160 calories for the entire tray and you know that you’re getting like a nice little snack that you’re going to be able to enjoy that’s not going to be done like I guess the thing that I’m trying to say is sometimes you have just like a little bar that’s like teeny tiny for 200 calories or this you can have like a whole tray with your Ranch for 160 I’m like that’s a good s that’s a good snack now one of the things that I haven’t talked about are like drinks so a lot of drinks out there are super super calorie dense I usually just carry around my electrolytes and minerals with me if you’ve been following me for a while you already know I have some chili mango in this so the electrolytes that I take are from element it has 1,000 Mig of sodium 200 mg of potassium and 60 Mig of magnesium so this is not only good for hydration but also for just overall hormonal regulation for both men and women right now element is is giving away a free portion control plays a big part in it now these are 70 calories per the little you know the little what are they called the baby Bell um they do have the Blue version which is like the low fat and that’s a lot less and then string cheese 80 calories now I feel like where we mess up or where we get a little carried away with cheese is when you’re just eating it right off the block or if you’re having like shredded cheese cuz then you’re just like going crazy on it the only good thing about this is that they are portioned out and so you pretty much know exactly what you’re putting into your body so I think this is also just a really great snack but cheese is typically unless it’s labeled low fat it is not really a low calorie snack so again it is a low calorie snack because it is portioned out but typically if you want to um eat more cheese then I would definitely look for like the lower calorie lower fat cheese but still overall cheese is yummy and it’s also a low calorie snack in this case all right now cottage cheese has had its moment I think it was more like 2023 that um cottage cheese was really really blowing up this is a super high protein snack what I love about it is half cup is 90 calories and 11 g of protein so that’s pretty good I mean usually if I’m having a serving of cottage cheese it’s going to be like a light lunch or like a snack and I’m probably going to do about 1 cup so you figure I’m having about 22 g of protein um what I do is I add berries I add some low carb granola and then a little drizzle of some sugar-free honey and woo so good so cottage cheese don’t forget I feel like um growing up I was always like cottage cheese was like the like the Little Steps sister you know little black sheep but um it definitely came became super popular last year and then I started being super super creative so don’t forget that cottage cheese is a high protein snack and you can go either Savory or sweet okay and there are so many more but I feel like this is a good one to end off on I love yogurt I love adding almonds like crushing up almonds like a the granola okay low carb gluten-free granola um this here has 90 calories but look at the protein 15 g of protein that’s amazing for a little serving like how do they put so much protein into this but I like this because it’s also zero added sugars zero AR artificial sweeteners and zero fat so this is not only low calorie but it’s also low in fat which is pretty much what I look for because I don’t know about you but I usually crave sweet things and snacks at night so if you’re going to do a snack make sure that thing is high in protein lower in calories and if you could do low fat then even better all right guys so those are some of the low calorie foods that I found just
