if you enjoyed my shrimp poor boy recipe you are absolutely going to love my salad version of that same recipe hello everyone I am Deborah welcome to my kitchen we are full swing into salad season and I am here for it and you guys I remember making that poor boy and absolutely loving that sandwich I decided okay why not take those same ingredients and put them all in a bowl and turn it into a salad and that’s exactly what I did and it is absolutely phenomenal you guys so everything that you put in a p boy but instead of putting it on a piece of bread I’m going to put it in a bowl and we are going to make ourselves a healthy delicious protein rich salad that is going to come together in a matter of minute so everything that you need to put this together is up there on the screen gather everything up come in close and let’s cook coming up [Music] next all right guys so the only thing in this recipe that needs to be cooked are Herman so let’s go ahead and season it and in this container I’ve got my seasoning which is s paprika o and some garlic powder ie sprinkle this on the [Music] shrimp massage it in and just set this aside while we prep the rest of our ingredients okay up next let’s go ahead and slice up some tomatoes [Music] Okay add a little salt set this aside and we’re going to move on to our lettuce okay I have a nice bunch of clean and dried lettuce here let’s roll it up and just go ahead and give it a chop okay let’s go ahead and put this in our serving Bowl all right you guys so the prep work is done at this point oh one other thing that I want to make a note of actually two things this this is our pickles I’ve already sliced them and then this is our rumala sauce okay if you’ve not made rumala sauce before I will leave all of the ingredients up there on the screen I had some already in the fridge and so so this has already been prepared so only thing we need to do at this point you guys is is to bring our shrimp over to the stove and we’re going to cook it so I’ll see you there to our Skillet let’s go ahead and add some avocado [Music] oil and now add in our shrimp so that was 2 minutes look at that nice crisp on that shrimp oh exactly what I want okay all right guys look at that oh my gosh okay are you hungry yet around about this time is this when I say are you hungry yet because I definitely am so let’s go ahead and put this bowl front in Center so that we can start assembling our salad not going to take a lot to do that okay the first thing I want to do is because the way that I’m serving it I just want to make a little well in the center because this is where I’m going to put the container that’s going to hold my rumala sauce all right so let’s go ahead and add in our [Music] tomatoes pickles [Music] and yes you guys this does look like a lot of pickles because it is a lot of pickles so once again it’s one of these things okay you make it your own kind of special all right that looks good and then last but certainly not least look at this this [Music] shrimp that’s making my heart smile big right about now we are getting ready to eat real good you guys get some of this [Music] juice and the last thing we need to do is to put some of this dressing in the center and time to eat okay everyone and here we have it a poor boy sandwich inspired salad that came together in a matter of minutes so Aroma of it you guys is absolutely phenomenal the colors and the freshness of these veggies let me tell you we are going to eat good tonight now I don’t know if you yet seen my poor boy um recipes if you’re not I’ll leave the link up above my husband does not like shrimp so when I made the poor boy sandwich for him I used a white fish so what I would do for him as far as the salad is concerned I would swap out the shrimp for that white fish you guys just as phenomenal as the sandwich and as a matter of fact because he has more of an appetite than me what I would do what I would do is I would take that bread and I would toast it and I would serve the bread on the side with his salad guys give this a try and when you do leave in the comments and let me know how much you love it and I want to thank you all so very much for being here remember to give this video a like and a share and also please do subscribe to my channel if you not yet done so before and you guys remember it is a great day and you continue to make it your own kind of special and until we meet again keep growing keep thriving keep pushing those boundaries and I will see you guys real soon on my channel where we continue to make it our own kind of special and enjoy [Music] oh [Music]
