hello you guys welcome back to my channel I hope you are having a wonderful day today this week’s video video I’m going to be sharing a lot of like what I’m eating I’m going to share with you guys some healthy dinner ideas that I’m doing lunch just whenever I’m eating something healthy I’m basically going to share it with you guys and it’s also going to be a way for me to stay on track like holding me accountable because I told you guys in my last video that I’ve been falling off and we need to get back on track so today I’m actually cooking for my family like my mom and Dad are coming Naim Lauren’s coming and we are going to be making salmon I realized I haven’t eaten fish in like a long time and I used used to eat it weekly and it’s so good for you with all the healthy fats so we’re going to do salmon red potatoes and I’m also going to make the peach and arugula salad that I made a couple weeks ago I’ve been dreaming about it ever since Omar actually ran to the grocery store for me because we needed the salmon and potatoes so he went to go get that he’ll be home soon I am just going to chat with you guys a little bit while I prep this salad cuz that’s the only ingredients that I have right now to get started the heat has arrived in Texas you guys it feels like it’s over 100° I don’t know if it is but goodness it is so blistering hot outside something light like salad and salmon is just that’s what sounds good today so today’s Monday so we just had a really lovely weekend with the family we had Omar’s family over last night to swim and it just makes me so happy like seeing everyone enjoying our pool and like having fun and the kids running around it just makes me literally so happy this is very random but this cucumber smells like the Homegrown cucumbers that I used to smell at my great grandmother’s house they used to grow cucumbers and peppers and all kinds of stuff in their Garden especially cucumbers I remember and this just literally smells like it is that weird maybe it is it’s crazy how scense can like bring you back to certain memories masallah my great grandparents both of them live to be well my great grandma lived to be 99 and then I believe my great-grandfather also lived to be 100 or maybe almost 100 so Masala and these are on my mom’s side of the family and I always wonder did they live to be that long because they grew a lot of the food that they made they had a garden and they ate a lot of homegrown vegetables and things like that so I always wonder like is that the secret to how they lived so long masallah my peaches are not very ripe sadly but I think it’ll still be okay all right we’ve got a arugula cucumber diced feta thinly sliced Peach you have to do the Red Onion with this it is a non-negotiable I like to thinly slice that as well hello oh that’s so sweet thank you Bab why why do I deserve these because I love so sweet I had the best husband that onion was kind of small so I’m going to do a little bit more we’re going to do some chopped come on bab okay how beautiful does that look I’m going to wait to mix this and add the dressing just because we have like maybe a couple hours before we eat and I don’t want to be soggy but I’m going to add olive oil lemon and some pomegranate molasses and salt and mix this together and it’s so good now we are going to put the salon on the tray so self-explanatory for potatoes we’re going to do garlic salt black pepper and rosemary give that a good coat okay those are ready for the oven for the salmon I’m just going to do olive oil and then the garlic salt and pepper on top very generous with the garlic salts okay that’s ready for the oven as well okay everybody’s here I just added olive oil pomegranate masses lemon and salt dinner is ready I’m in Dallas with Lauren today we had a little content day and we got some pictures and videos successful yes now we got lunch and we’re going to head back and see my babies I thought I show you guys what we’re eating because this is a what I eat video this is probably not the healthiest thing I could have gotten to be honest you guys and I so we were sweating yes we burned so many calories we were walking Lena was walking in heels in 100° we deserve it workout okay it’s kind of basic but also it’s so comforting it’s chicken grilled chicken glutenfree mac and cheese and then roasted broccoli so yummy we literally got the exact I know literally the exact same oh and healthy you have to their freaking gluten-free chocolate chip cookies are so good it’s insane I know oh and we got lemonade so this is a little bit of an enjoying meal treat it’s the treats we’re sing I know it’s so freaking good especially cuz we haven’t eaten today literally all I ate this morning was a banana it’s kind of giving like air W never been to airb well I haven’t either but people go and get their plates they get like mac and cheese broccoli really this is what they get protein but I’ve heard people say it’s actually not as good I love watching ear one I’m like I’ve never been there and probably never will but looks it looks so good the buffalo cauliflower M looks delicious I think they have a mac and cheese I really want to try the haly Bieber smoothie that looks so good literally $20 that’s ridiculous my girlfriend that’s why I don’t think I’ll ever purchase it that’s ridiculous I think we can make that at home oh we should try mhm the coconut cream that would be a good thing to try mhm mhm wearing green today I always get told that I’m never wearing any color I hope you guys are happy now that doesn’t count it doesn’t count anytime I wear color nobody appreciates it so it’s a nude green you’re one of my haters my biggest haters I’m I’m in your comments okay today I’m going to be making chicken fajitas Omar’s going to grill them and I’m also going to do cheese tast illas just because Elena has been loving that recently and she’s been a very picky eater recently she goes through phases and right now we are in a picky phase and she just won’t eat so I’m hoping we’re going to have good luck today so I’m going to prep everything F Pico guac pinto beans and then we’ll season the chicken is anyone else dealing with so many flies in their house just made some homemade fajita seasoning got Cayenne paprika onion powder garlic powder salt cumins good stuff I’m going to season the chicken breast I’m going to make the guac my avocados look really good but they’re a little bit you’re not ripe enough does anyone else stand like this that’s literally how I stand in the guac I like to add Tomato Red Onion a little bit of jalapeno and a little chopped cilantro lime and garlic salt turned out perfect for the Pico it’s almost the exact same thing without the avocado tomato onion jalapeno and cilantro lime juice and garlic salt Omar has the black stone Grill are all black Stones the flat top or is that just the brand no yeah they are I’m not used to the fact that Omar has this now so he says that he can make the quesadillas Grill the chicken and sauté everything so now you’re just in charge of cooking I’m in charge of cooking this is so easy all okay the kids are here now so it’s a little bit more loud but I’m going to going what but I’m going to assemble these bowls cuz I decided to do it with rice instead of CH is you don’t have to eat it Elena does not want her quesadilla at all but this looks so bomb We’ve Got Rice Pino beans chicken guac Pico I think we might even have some hot sauce in the fridge if we need some but JoJo’s going to eat some more of his Padilla too hello you guys I feel like I’ve been vlogging in this spot this whole video but this is where I’m cooking so today sorry it has been a long week today Friday it’s the end of the week it’s the end of the day it’s 700 p.m. and I’m getting a late start on dinner honestly the kids have been going down later during the summer like usually their bedtime is 7:00 we’ve been getting them to sleep around 8:30 so if I can do this fast enough I think we’ll be okay right now I’m about to cut a watermelon for Jojo cuz he needs a little snack and then I’m going to get to work on just a very quick simple it should be Omar took Elena on a little drive cuz I think she’s honestly I think she’s a little bit tired but we have to feed her dinner and I’m just having a day get this cut for Mr Jojo so we can have a little snack he had a late nap so he’s good he is chilling he woke up at like 5:15 our sleep schedules have not when are they ever normal I don’t even know here jojoy he loves watermelon my family left today to go to Jordan and Lake KO Italy and I have such fomo you guys I wish we were going but just didn’t work out for us this year Omar’s family is actually going on a trip at the exact same time which is honestly the reason why we decided to go ahead and go with Omar’s family they’re going to Miami all the cousins like Meta Family so we were like H we should just go and like that way we’re not here the kids being bored I’ve gotten a lot of people telling me that Miami’s not that kid-friendly so I don’t know about that it looks like there’s a lot of like museums and the zoo and stuff like that my mom is freaking out about the beach in Miami because of all the sharks that have been in Florida that is insane so I know we’re not going to be around Destin which I think is where most of the Sharks were but like that’s still very scary so my mom is like a worry wor and now she’s making me be like so worried did I already say what I’m making I don’t know but I’m making a Greek salad some chicken in the oven some sweet potatoes it’s kind of like one of my go-to meals I think I’ve probably made it on my channel before but this is just what I’m making for dinner tonight cuz it’s easy and simple and the kids will eat the chicken my kids are kind of picky when it comes to everything honestly oh he ran out of the watermelon he says n for food n cuz my mother-in-law and like Omar’s family they all say n for food is that a Syrian thing so let me know if any of you guys are Syrian and you say n food or if that’s an Arab thing in general literally last minute we decided to go to Miami and we leave on Wednesday and today is Friday so we have less than a week to prepare for this trip and I’m just like oh my God but I feel like after we went to malds and Istanbul I did that whole trip with the kids by ourselves for that matter I was like we can do anything now at this point especially because Omar’s mom and his whole family is going to be there going to be one big happy family Shah it be fun to have some nice family time to seasoned chicken we’re doing my favorite which is curry powder and garlic salt for this sweet potato I’m going to do garlic salt and black pepper we’re going to do it in the oven today since I do not know how to use the grill I definitely could learn but why would I want to dinner is ready and it was super quick it was 30 minutes in the oven for the chicken and the potatoes it took me like 15 minutes to whip it up like before I put it in the oven so like 45 minutes and it’s so delicious for the kids I put them sweet potato and chicken and Elena likes to dip her chicken in ketchup so that’s what she’s doing we just finished up dinner I still need to clean up but we did already give the kids a bath so that’s a win it’s 8:20 so we only have about 10 minutes until we need to put them to sleep I hope that you guys enjoyed today’s video I hope you guys got some nice like dinner and meal ideas and got to see
