cooking basics for students part four every student needs an all-purpose sauce this is mine and you can steal it cut up some veggies in big chunks tomatoes bell peppers jalapenos and an onion i added all my veggie chunks to a baking sheet and hit them with a generous amount of olive oil and an even more generous amount of salt using my hands i just tossed them to coat everything oh and i almost forgot i also chopped a whole head of garlic to expose its insides and place it on my baking sheet with olive oil and salt i just baked these guys for 35 to 40 minutes and i got these beautifully roasted vegetables transfer them to a blender remove the garlic that you totally didn’t forget about and squeeze the living crap out of it and just add a little lemon juice while you’re blending drizzle in some olive oil to emulsify and the result is this chunky thick sauce that can be used as pasta sauce a dip for your chips put it on your sandwiches or spoon it directly into your mouth you dirty anime
