[Music] morning everyone it is currently 553 we are up we are at them today I’m going to be doing a what I eat in a day video I haven’t done this in actually 5 ever and and I have been making the most healthy quick easy recipes the last couple of months and I just want to have a video where I share with you guys some great recipes I literally love food so much it’s one of my biggest passions and I also want this to be realistic as well this morning I just started off with a little coffee just like a cold brew with almond milk and a little bit of creamer and I just froth it and I put it in my little bottle and then I’ll like shake it up and it just tastes like so good I’m also going to drink a glass of water before I really get into my coffee just so I hydrate myself and I’m going to read my Bible usually always have coffee and water with my Bible and then we’re going to get on with our first meal of the [Music] day now on to our first meal of the day which is our pre-workout breakfast this morning I made making chocolate peanut butter protein pudding for the base I put chocolate peanut butter protein powder from PE science collagen and coconut chocolate greens from nutren all in a cutie little bowl mix it with water it creates this pudding texture I topped it with 1/4 cup non-fat yogurt my favorite brand is siggies 1/4 cup frozen berries some purely Elizabeth granola I’m using the cinnamon peanut butter flavor and then topped it with a tablespoon of peanut butter and a drizzle of honey this meal comes out to around 35 g of protein and is such a good meal to start off the day and have before a workout let’s see what we think first let’s pray ABA I thank you for the first meal of the day Lord you are so good thank you that this bowl tastes like a dessert and it’s good for you Lord you’re so kind I love you in Jesus name amen okay [Music] ready this is literally such a good bowl like it’s it’s so good this bowl I have like so often y’all I don’t know why my windshield wipers are going off right now I’m really trying to make them not go off oh I I figured it out thank you God this bowl has been one of my favorite pre-workout breakfast in the last month or two you saw how easy it was to make I love having it before my workout actually not very carb heavy it’s more very protein packed and it has really good fats in it but I like it to fuel me for my workout and and it just tastes like a literal dessert I mean look at this I love it you’ve got to try it I will say it is all in the protein powder that I use and the type of greens mixture that I use in every one of my meals I want to hit these four categories I want to have protein carbs fat and a fiber in this case our protein is our protein powder and our Greek yogurt carb is the fruits a little bit of the granola and some honey our fat is the peanut butter and a little bit of the granola our fiber is actually in that greens mix that I have if you want to know what it is basically it’s like kale greens mix I don’t even know what they put in it but it’s a bunch of fruits and veggies allinone and they flavor it and it tastes like chocolate it’s from nutrien my personal trainer got me hooked on these I’ve been putting them in all of the recipes where I don’t want to put like spinach in it so I’m getting like kale without tasting kale which is amazing if you want to get my protein powder that I use and my greens mix it’s going to be in the link in my description I have a shop my where I’m putting all of my supplements on there and you guys have already I think sold out the nutren on Amazon now we are going to go ahead to our workout class we have a matte pilates class at equinox so we’re going to go ahead there I am actually still on the wait list for this class but I’m just believing that I’m going to get in I’m just going to believe in faith that there is a spot for me okay that’s what we’re going to believe this morning [Music] okay so I don’t know if y’all could tell but I was actually able to get into that workout I asked the guy at the FR I was like I’m on the weight list I don’t know if I can get in and he was like we don’t even have a weight list that’s on fate that’s on don’t believe everything you see that’s on when something looks like it’s a closed door and everyone’s like hey a door’s closed don’t even bother you’re like no no because I feel like God is leading me to do that thing so I’m going to do it and then the door opens for you and everyone’s like wait what how did that door open for you that wasn’t supposed to open for you I know I’m preaching to someone I know I am I love Matt Pilates for just like a low impact workout day and then I partnered it with a 20-minute run your girl’s trying to get at least 12,000 steps a day I know that’s psychotic but if you walk on the treadmill like an hour get some work done or go on Pinterest go on the Bible app it actually goes by fast and it’s kind of relaxing right now we’re going to go home we’re going to make our post-workout breakfast I think I’m going to try to get ally to make it with us cuz she’s going to enter her cooking era in Jesus name so before I make my breakfast and after I get back from my workout I always have my BCAAs which are amino acids and electrolytes they’re really good for recovery from your workout so this also tastes really good I just find it as like a reward for finishing my workout so I’m going to put this in my water and then I’m going to get started on my breakfast y’all Ally laid out my book in our living room and it just looks so cute like why is it giving Decor this is also our TV okay because we’re putting it up today but look how sweet for our post workout breakfast we are going to make this viral recipe that I found called the pancake bowl and it’s actually a recipe that this girl Brinley came up with I made it the other day for the first time and I was like literally obsessed I’m actually going to run you guys through the ingredients really quick she suggested to get this pancake mix but like I want to have a good amount of carbs but not like a crazy amount of carbs I’m just going to do the carbonaut and then we have our protein powder this is my favorite protein powder in the entire world peut butter protein egg whites in there as well a ripe banana in the base y’all know me we’re going to put in our greens mixture we’re going to top it with some fun toppings that I’ll show you guys at the end I’m also going to make one for Ali because I think that we need to bless our friends and our family whenever possible make some of these recipes for your mom or for your best friend your roommate make another serving okay because you’re going to bless people on this side of you to all right get a microwavable tupperware bowl 1/4 cup pancake mix 1/2 cup egg whites one scoop peanut butter protein one scoop chocolate greens and A3 of a ripe banana mix it all together so that the banana is mashed and the texture is Blended just right for it to go into the oven for 2 minutes you can cover lightly after 2 minutes is up you can top it with your favorite toppings I added fruit some granola almond butter drizzle and maple syrup this is so delicious and comes out to around 35 g of protein I also made a bowl for Ally and was able to give it to her here was her reaction this is so pretty thank you honey Ashley just brought me food and I was just saying how hungry I was wait that were you were yeah I was like trying to talk to my mom and I couldn’t find words and I was like I’m hungry I need to eat breakfast that’s God can you try it and can you tell me what you think this is the pancake Bowl I was talking about yesterday wait bye this is so good is it wait I kind of like this warm what the freak they need to try it now that is not chy no good this is not chewy wait it’s so good Ash it’s giving like a warm Browning FL Hallelujah you’re you should make it for your mom okay let’s pray father thank you so much for this pancake Bowl I am so excited to eat this Lord and I just thank you God that you’ve given us food that tastes good and is also good for us in Jesus name amen oh my gosh yeah it’s like a brownie texture you guys no this is gas no this is so good try it and then thank me later it’s like gooy on the inside kind of hard on the outside by if you have a sweet tooth like myself you want to still have like healthy options I really recommend making this bowl even like the other day I wanted to get a waffle at this breakfast place in La I was like I really want a waffle but like I don’t want to feel the way that a waffle will make me feel after because there’s just such like a huge crash that you have here’s the thing this is like having a waffle but without the crash you are energized for the day you are full for hours like this is the way to go let me know if you try any of these like this is just so fun we need to do more of these videos together get ready with me and I thought I would just share a little little bit of my eating Journey with you guys just a little bit more of like my health and wellness journey I want to just keep it so real with you guys and say that I haven’t always had the best relationship with food there have been seasons in my life where I have struggled with like going to food for comfort and overeating and just like going to The Pantry whenever I was just like anxious or stressed or sad or whatever and then there have been other there’s a bug distraction that means we’re on to something here if there’s distraction that means that the enemy don’t want you to talk about something so we’re going to talk about it and then there have been also Seasons where I have underfed myself restricted myself from the nutrients that my body needs yeah I have Teeter tottered between both of those ways of looking at Food I’ve had Seasons where I’ve had microwave meals like every single night I’ve had Seasons where I have gone out to eat too much but I feel like in the last couple of months I’ve had so much confidence with food in the way that I can make recipes that are satiating for my body they’re satisfying for me and they also are healthy and they’re also you know easy to make and quick to make for my schedule I feel like I’m at a place where I can really just talk about this subject more and help you guys in your journey with food as well this is going to be I think different than the other what I eat in a day videos because a lot of people don’t count macros and they don’t count calories and I used to be someone who was really focused on like intuitive eating I would hear from YouTubers and other people other content creators they were like hey just eat whatever feels good to you or like eat whenever you feel full and the issue to that with me at least in with myself I don’t want to speak for everyone I would end up overeating because I I wouldn’t feel full ever like I would just like keep eating I ended up like gaining weight and I was eating all really healthy food but I was gaining weight because I was just eating till I like felt like I was done and I never really knew when I was done and then I would like feel bad that I was gaining weight so then I would just like not eat enough the next day and then I would like underfeed myself right and it was just like I never really knew the portions that I needed and around 6 months ago go I started working with a trainer her name is Taylor if you’ve been around this channel you have met her she’s literally incredible and she helped me find how much food I really need for each meal so it’s different for all of our bodies we are all created differently like I’m really tall and my body I might need more food than the average human the meals that like I am scarfing down and I Feel So Satisfied by Ally is like I’m stuck with my my trainer I just got to ask her and be like hey we got to decide and figure out like what my body needs also the portions of what the nutrients that I need so we figured out for me for some people counting macros this has been like a thing in the fitness industry a lot of people when I look at these what i e in the days they like don’t count macros they just throw it all together I did that for 3 years and I did not see any progress in my fitness journey over the last 6 months I have seen so much progress in just my confidence with my food confidence in my body I’ve actually notice like with the amount of protein that I’ve been increasing like my my muscles are more toned I know that I’m not overfeeding myself but I also know that I’m not underfeeding myself I try not to be super religious about this but like I just think if you want to see progress in your health and fitness journey if you want to see progress in your confidence with food and the way you feel about yourself you’re going to have to deny your flesh right now I feel like on YouTube no one is talking about self-discipline no one is talking about like especially self-discipline with food it’s just like do what feels good for you but what if what feels good for me is I just want to like satisfy the desires of My Flesh which is to like be gluttonous and eat whatever if that’s the case then that’s not good I shouldn’t be following what my body is telling me that it wants because my body doesn’t know what’s good for it all the time right waiting for marriage like obvious L it’s hard sometimes right like just because you want to do something with your boyfriend doesn’t mean you should like I’m approaching all areas of my life and my faith and it is practicing self-discipline denying your flesh wanted to share that perspective that’s really giv me a lot of freedom I’m not saying that just because I’m practicing self-discipline with food that I’m not enjoying food I’m actually enjoying my recipes and my food now more than ever truly stewarded my body as a temple of the Holy Spirit it where I’m not in gluttony but I’m also not depriving myself of the nutrients that my body needs you’re here hey y’all this is what I’ve eaten in to day I drove to McDonald’s I got a egg McMuffin and ham and they miss my sausage so that’s all I’ve had and I’ve had this so and I’ve had the holy spirit so what are you having now air what are you going to have for lunch you’re going to feed yourself something healthy if Ash Cooks so serious this is me living close to Ash no crew you’re going to make yourself something good you guys all are yes we will no no I’ve been eating healthy cuz I literally live right next door to her love you guys make sure you feed yourself good food today you could bring me something we got the broccoli in we have a two course meal first is the bread and second is the blood we just have the the body of Christ for dinner good night for the sweet potato Burgers you start out slicing the sweet potato I put olive oil salt pepper garlic powder and paprika on the sweet potato slices then put them in the air fryer at at 400 for 15 minutes flipping about halfway through then I got some lean ground beef and I added burger seasoning which would be garlic powder onion powder paprika salt and pepper and I created these patties I put them on the stove top and cooked them on a medium heat for around 10 minutes flipping halfway through once everything was cooked I then put the sweet potato slices and burgers together and topped it with this chipotle ranch burger sauce from side dish then added lettuce pickles and red onion your typical burger toppings and there we have it our Burger sliders are high protein filled with healthy ingredients and perfect for a quick and easy lunch we thank you for burgers we thank you for healthy burgers and we thank you for friendship in Jesus name amen amen all right let’s try it sweet potato Burgers you ready um good so perfect for summer yeah I love Burgers bro they look my favorite this was a success 10 out of 10 okay so every day in the middle of the day Ali and I have been having these electrolytes and I have to include this in a wena day because it’s like a daily thing this one is from Ultima I actually have a code that you guys can use in the description below but my favorite one is blue raspberry pink lemonade is good too but I definitely would suggest having an electrolyte in the middle of your day nice for like that afternoon slum so I definitely notice the days that I have an electrolyte versus the days that I don’t I definitely notice more energy that I have on the days with electrolytes so I definitely recommend getting on that electrolyte kick if you haven’t already and I’m just going to put it in my [Music] water for dinner I started out draining my kelp noodles this is the brand I used I then let the noodles soak for around 10 minutes as I started to make my sauce for the sauce we are doing 1/3 cup coconut aminos sesame oil garlic and sesame seeds I then began to sauté mushrooms for around 5 minutes while simultaneously cooking chicken in another pan I then added broccoli and carrots to the mushrooms and added the cooked chicken as well and stir fried all of it for around 5 minutes then I added the kelp noodles and the sauce and cooked it all together in the pan and voila such a quick easy healthy dinner that is also protein packed Lord bless his food to the nourishment of our bodies thank you for this food even though it’s late I thank you God that we were able to eat a good healthy dinner tonight in Jesus name amen amen we had three meals today we I love this oh wait this is good good mhm Hallelujah 10 out of 10 now that we are done with dinner it is time to make some dessert now typically I will just have like dark chocolate or dates with peanut butter and cinnamon but tonight I wanted to make like a more elevated dessert for y’all that’s healthy for you that’s quick to make that’s easy tonight we’re going to make cottage cheese cookie dough I haven’t really made this recipe yet but I am excited to try it with y’all let’s do it together to make the cottage cheese cookie dough you add half2 cup low-fat cottage cheese 1 tbsp maple syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 tbsp almond flour or oat flour and a/ cup peanut butter protein powder all to a blender and blend then you add 1 tspoon of chocolate chips on top and you have a super easy protein packed dessert wait that’s good it’s so good this has po cheese in it that’s weird it has cheese in it I mean this tastes exactly like cookie dough I’m going to give it a book and say it definitely tastes like healthy cookie dough but I’m actually shocked that it’s cottage cheese like that’s the part that blows my mind bye bye I love this WOW come on [Music]
