In this vlog, I’ll show you what my mornings look like nowadays. I am on my fitness journey so I try to follow a healthy diet and regular exercise with my trainer.

While looking for healthy food options I found @TrueElements It is a healthy breakfast & snacks brand with lot of products like rolled oats, muesli, healthy seeds and snacking options. My current favourite is their Rolled Oats because unlike other white oats it is not powdery. It is 100% rolled oats which is fibre rich so keeps me full till lunch.

Got it. I was in search of True Elements Oats We are going to use True Elements Rolled Oats in todays recipe True Eelements are really good. I heard that there is no dust in it. My friends told me that rolled oats are very good. No dust in it. This is what we are going to use. They have other products too. I know. They have Muesli and Granola too This is with dark chocolate. We have this at home. They have lot of varieties They also have chia seeds. Can’s seem them here This is True Elements Muesli for multi grain diet All these are ready to eat They have berries mix We can eat it like having mixture Yes. It is a ready to eat breakfast. This is what we need. It doesnt have any fibre dust Neat and clean oats That is True Elements Rolled Oats Pearle, the billing counter is on that side. What are you doing there again? One minute. Just checking out if anything new has come. We have been dieting for 18 days now. Let me see if anything new has come in this 18 days You saw that from Palakkad. Hi guys I am back after shopping We are going to have diet food today All are so excited to have diet food. You wont have all this. Let us have a dust test first. You are going to see the difference between normal and rolled oats here Let me dust test normal oats first I shall put it in a strainer and show you. Little dust when I opened the lid itself. You can see how normal oats it when you put them in a strainer This much in normal oats. We can see it here Now let us try rolled oats. This is rolled oats dust test No dust at all This is the difference between rolled oats and normal oats. The benefit of True Elements rolled oats is that it is not highly processed. So it is high in fibre. You will feel full after having it Low glycemin index in them That is why all suggest rolled oats now. I have cut and kept everything ready here I shall explain once again for those who dont have an idea on what I said Today I am going to show 3 healthy recipes. Not absolutlely healthy. I will be adding little honey and oil. But those looking at extreme healthy can look at this. Let me invite two people first. They are Rithi and Sruthi. To say Rithi, I will push my lips to one side and for Sruthi to the other side You would be knowing them. Any function in our house, they would be in the front to dance Which is the trending music of now. They know all that They are the trending girls Tell them what you asked me when you saw me as soon as you came from Chennai She has lost weight. Not sure if you noticed it or not. I am not sure if I have slimmed down. But I am on a diet and am able to maintain my weight I was 79kg 18 days back Now I am 73 Running on 73.4kg Main person behind this is Anand, our gym trainer He was very strict with me. Second reason is our diet We have to follow a strict diet, do workouts and cardio is also important You must have noticed my story daily. I used to post the pic of my watch I walk for 30mts. Many ask me didnt you walk today Today I am sharing a recipe that these college girls can also make. Tell them what are you studying. MBA 2nd year Both of them are college students. What do you have in the morning usually? Idly, tea, etc Tea, coffee You shouldnt be eating like that Have healthy breakfast We are first going to make an awesome smoothie A smoothie made of oats I am using True Elements rolled oats What do you do when you leave in the morning? First thing you do before going to college? You take your bath, get ready, Imagine you dont have time to cook at that time You are in a hurry You get to buy a glass with spoon like this in Amazon. You can take it with you You can have it on the way You get a straw too with it I shall tell you how to make this now. This is a blender. Can use a mixi too. I have taken this to show you from here Take a blender It is best to soak oats the previous night You can soak it at 10pm before going to bed. 100g for one person. Since you are 2 of you, take 200g I have soaked 100g oats for one person here 50g of what? Strawberries have lot of benefits. Google to know more. Blueberries are excellent. Even they have lot of benefits. Google and know more on it. Next is chia seeds It is very good for digestion 1 whole robusta banana I have taken 20g blueberris Who is going to add what first. I shall put in the strawberries first Dont put them out We have put in bananas, strawberries and blueberries I am adding the soaked 100g oats to it. After they are soaked, they turned soft. Pouring 1 cup milk to it. You can add a nice background score here. ‘ Or you will hear our WOWs Move all these from here then and there. I am closing it with a lid Are you ready to blend it? Let us begin It is locked. We have Nilu in this house. Do you want help? No need. I will do it. Come. Srini does all these. He locks it. Why is it like this? Usually it isnt like this Once more Have you grown taller? Our smoothie is ready I like a thick consistency where I can have it using a spoon It makes you feel full for long Pour it into the glass we have with us. Saw the texture. It has strawberry and blueberries in it. Add little chia seeds to it now. Even Vayalar cant write like this. Mix it well. What do we do next? Drink it? ‘ Got a big straw like us I put one straw in it. It stood straight Looks like it got scared. Straws for all of us Come, lets have it I dont want any other food now on. Shall have this in the morning, afternoon and night Tastes different. You liked it, right? It is very chewy and nice You would be wondering no sugar or honey in it. How would it taste. It has the taste of banana, blueberries and strawberris Can feel the chewy texture of oats The flavour of milk is also in here It is a perfect smoothie. How much would you rate it out of 10? 10 9.5 Thank you Thank you You are appointed and why did you give it 9.5? It is less sweet You thought it is ice cream? This is healthy This is how it should be You should try it out and comment how much you would give it Let us shift our location now. Change the ingredients. Next we shall do Oats Omelette. Green chillies Butter Onions Pepper Capsicum Red capsicum We have used bell pepper Tomato And soaked rolled oats Super Nilu So this is True Elements soaked rolled oats We soak the oats to make it soft It is easier to cook and eat That is why it is soaked for a while I have soaked oats Let us begin now. Are you ready? What are we adding first? Butter I shall add this. Nilu helps me in the kitchen now a days This is hot. Add only when I tell you to Pouring little bit of sunflower oil It is a healthy recipe. Not adding much But if you are not looking at that, do it as you like. This is little less healthy. I am taking little oil to saute these We have taken butter and little oil here Once this becomes hot, what will we add to this? You can add all these onions. I think it wasnt hot. Let us shift it to the other stove Location shift Mummy, keep it here. We are going to add green chillies Those who want it spicy, can add more I am adding just 2 small pieces Let me see. I shall give Nilu another thing to do Break the eggs How is that? You like to do that, right? Show me how to break the eggs You can do it. Break them. Open it making it two Go and wash your hands now. Dont rub your hands on your dress Onions and green chillies are getting ready Adding capsicum next Saute them well. You can reduce the flame if you want. Add red capsicum to this. I shall add that. If you keep it there, how will I add this? You know that. Dont touch that. I want a spoon. This is hot. I shall teach you how to whisk this. I will whisk that I will do it. We have 2 eggs here. As I have mentioned in my old recipes, adding little milk, makes it fluffy. Let me add little milk. Done. Very little pepper because Nilu will also have it Beat it like this. Hold onto her hand. Adding tomatoes to this. Adding salt to this. I shall put salt Mix it well. Shall I show you how to do it. Make the sound like this. Nilu has a new song now. Sing that I will do that Ok do it. Now we shall add oats to this I am squeezing the water out of it and adding it here Squeeze and then spread it here. We dont need the water. Just the oats will do. This much oats will do. I am increasing the flame now. Beat the eggs well. By then this should be well sauted We can add little pepper to this for a flavour. Nilu, what do you think about oats? Do you like oats? Roast the oats well to get the perfect omelette taste Sprinkling some salt here Add very little salt It is almost done. Time to pour now. Spread it on the pan What should we do Nilu? Spread. Remove the spoon from it. Time to pour it. Dont pour it Dont pour it now. If we dont pour this now, this will get burnt Srini, hold her for sometime. Dont add it You will hear someone crying now. Dont bother that. I am going to pour this. I have poured it…. Just a minute. Nilu has got one more egg to break now. I am increasing the flame for the omelette. Close it with a lid Since we got a correct size lid, it is ok Beat that egg well. Could you pour some milk. Another cookery show happening there. I shall upload it in another You Tube channel Egg with milk. Let us open and check this out. Sprinkle some chilli flakes and close it. The top should get cooked on low flame Our omelette is ready Transfer it to a plate slowly What does it look like? Looks like a pizza Are you ready? Both of you should taste it and share your feedback I dont have to know anybody elses feedback Try it out. Show them the oats omelette. Can see smoke coming out of it. Yummy. Very soft too. Is it soft? Then let me try it out. I am going to taste it. Very soft and yummy Srini, try it out. You feel like there is non veg in it. You feel like there is chicken in it. Oats is giving that feel. It is very nice Do try it out. Try it out with True Elements rolled oats Only then can you get the same taste like ours. Super right? Really nice. One more piece for me. The vegetables and the fluffiness of milk You can see the fluffy texture because of the milk Do try it out. Super tasty. Successfully we have put Nilu in water She is in the tub She loves to play in water This is a latest technology I have found out. When kids fight with us and you are watering plants, Just sprinkle some water on them. They will think who am I for a second. If you are not watering any plants, just take some water in a bucket Give them a mug. She came in seconds and is playing there happily. My brain is like upma now. That is when I remembered that we are next going to make upma. It is a healthy oats upma. I am adding little extra ghee because they are not on a diet. They like ghee and it is good fat. So I am preparing it with ghee. You can make it using olive oil Use very little oil to make it. Let us start now. I am using little ghee Once the ghee is hot, add finely chopped ginger Next is green chillies. Basic ingredients ginger, garlic and green chillies Do you like nuts? Yes, then we shall add them too You should ask yourself are you nuts If you like it, add more Once the nuts, green chillies and ginger are roasted, Add chopped onions I have taken 50g True Elements rolled oats and 100ml water It is not like semolina. Use little water Added onions. Once it is almost done, add carrots. What to add when the carrots are done? Shall add beans Carrot and beans take little time to get cooked You wanted to ask me something I had told you to ask me in front of the camera Where will you get True Elements rolled oats? In Kochi, you get them at Lulu Mall You get them at Sylcon We bought it from a market here, Host You get it at Pothys, Rajakumari etc It is available on Amazon too Available on Flipkart too You get them in Swiggy Instamart and their website too Let this get cooked little more. Share your college news. How many have boyfriends? What did I ask? Was my question wrong? These 2 study a lot. I am not like that. They may be twins, but totally different in their characters Let me see if you can guess She is Rithi and she is Sruthi. I shall tell you the difference Rithi is slightly like me. She is a yo yo Sruthi is very humble. She is happy with anything small she gets She is not like that. I cannot explain more than this. She is simple and she is like me. But when both join, they are a nice combo First when they met me, they came in the same dress. I asked why are you college going girls wearing the same dress like this. I changed them to one sleeveless and one with sleeve When I buy for them, I buy the same pattern, but different colours for them. I said I should know who is who So they are similar in that way. Nilu can understand who is who I am adding the oats to this now. Roast it for sometime now. Just like how we roast semolina if it is not roasted, Add oats to this and roast it slightly Sprinkle some salt over it Added salt What did we use for spice in here? Only green chillies That is how it is for all the upmas. Generally the same I am not looking at my chef’s face for sometime My mind tells me that I have made some mistake Everything is fine. Dont worry At this stage, add water The oats will get cooked in this water In 2 recipes, what did we do to the oats? We soaked and used them But here, we wont soak them. We are directly adding them You can increase the flame slightly now. Let us see how is our oats upma now. It is almost done. The water has dried up Can feel the flavour of ghee now. As I mentioned earlier, people making it healthy can use olive oil Only if you take little more water, it will cook properly You can go upto 1.:2 or 1:3 It depends on how are you cooking it. If you want it very soft, add more water. If you want it crispy, add less water I have closed it. I am going to serve it into a plate now. Plating is a weakness for me guys. Hold this. Let us shape it. Thank you guys Why am I like this? Dont go near the stove. It is hot. I am going to give both of you spoons again. You forgot one thing before that. I thought of it. What have you forgotten? We forgot to put marks for the omelette. Now say the marks for my omelette. 9.5 10 Good marks. I have passed with distinction. Time to say marks for the next item now.
