Berry Delicious Smoothie – Serves 1
Over 25 g of Protein, Antioxidant rich and a nice balance of macronutrients making it a perfect meal option for Breakfast or Lunch if you are normally the type of person to skip meals because of being too busy. You could even make this the night before!
In clinic, I often find that clients are not eating enough. Eating carbohydrates and fats are so important for our hormonal and reproductive health. If we are eating a too low of a calorie diet, it often means we are not able to meet fibre or micronutrient needs. Your approach to fertility eating needs to zoom out and look at the whole picture and carbs, fats and calories are all very important pieces to the puzzle 🧩
Ingredients:
1 cup of frozen mixed berries
1 scoop of unflavoured collagen protein powder (or protein powder of choice – look for one with a low number of extra ingredients)
1/2 cup of Greek yoghurt
1/2 cup milk of choice (I used oat milk)
1 heaped tablespoon of hemp seeds
1 teaspoon of honey
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
