Today’s recipe is “Goan Ambil’ made from Nachni/ragi/finger millet,This Ambil is like a conjee/kanji/porridge,very healthy and delicious.
If you are looking to make the nachni flour at home ,then wash the millets well under water,dry them for an hour or so on a kitchen towel and then dry roast the millet seeds (ragi) on a skillet, cool them completely and then grind it up into flour.Nachni flour is easily available easily in stores.

2 tbsp Nachni flour,1/2 inch ginger grated,1 green chilli,1 tbsp corriander,water as needed,salt and sugar,1/2 tsp cumin,6 peppercorns ,1/2 cup thick coconut milk
