Masala Makhana Recipe | Roasted Lotus Seed Snack

Ingredients:
4 cups puffed lotus seeds (makhana)
3 teaspoons ghee
½ teaspoon red chili powder
½ teaspoon chaat masala
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Roast the Makhana: In a non-stick pan, dry roast the makhana over medium heat for 6-8 minutes until they become crispy. Transfer them to a bowl.
Prepare the Masala: In the same pan, heat ghee over low heat. Add red chili powder, chaat masala, and salt. Sauté the spices for 30 seconds to release their flavors.
Combine and Cook: Add the roasted makhana to the pan. Stir well to coat the makhana evenly with the spice mixture. Continue to sauté on low heat for an additional 5-6 minutes.
Cool and Store: Remove the pan from heat and allow the masala makhana to cool to room temperature. Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
