Recipe:
For Batter:
– 60g raw moong dal
– 30g raw rice
– 40g dahi
– Salt, as per taste
– Water, as needed
– 1/2 tsp jeera
For Filling:
– 100g low-fat paneer
– 1 small onion, chopped
– 1 tomato, chopped
– 2 tsp ghee
– 1/2 tsp garam masala
– 1/4 tsp haldi
– 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
– 1/2 tsp coriander powder
– Fresh coriander, chopped
Instructions:
1. Batter Preparation:
– Blend moong dal, rice, dahi, salt, and water until smooth.
– Add jeera to the batter and mix well.
2. Filling Preparation:
– Heat ghee in a pan, add jeera until it sizzles.
– Sauté chopped onions until golden brown.
– Add tomatoes, paneer, garam masala, haldi, red chilli powder, and coriander powder.
– Cook until veggies are soft, then garnish with fresh coriander.
3. Cooking the Dosa:
– Heat a pan, lightly grease with ghee, and spread the dosa batter in a circular motion.
– Cook on both sides until crispy.
– Add the prepared filling in the center, fold into a dosa shape, and enjoy with sambhar or chutney!
