How to make banana bread at home using leftover ripe bananas, wholemeal flour, raisins, cherries and pecan nuts. Banana fruit is high in potassium, fibre, soluble sugar and gives a quick boost to the body that is why you see Tennis players eating bananas during matches. This easy to make banana loaf recipe is great as a dessert, a snack and for breakfast.
Ingredients: –
2 Large Ripe Bananas
3 Large Eggs
100g Soft Brown Sugar
125ml Mild Olive Oil
330g Wholemeal Self Raising Flour (100g Wheat Bran + 230g White Self – Raising Flour)
2 Tablespoons Raisins & Cherries (Amaretto Soaked)
Pecans Nut
150ml Semi-Skimmed Milk
1 Teaspoon Bicarbonate
2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
½ Teaspoon Ginger Powder
1 Teaspoon Mixed Spice
1 Teaspoon Orange Extract
1 Teaspoon Lemon Extract
1 Teaspoon Rose Water
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Bean Extract
1 Teaspoon Nutmeg
½ Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
