Healthy dinner ideas should always be easy dinner recipes. These turkey meatballs simmered with Rao’s marinara and a side of broccoli tossed with garlic and oil take 20 minutes to pull together. It is the prefect dinner recipes after a long busy day!
Ingredients
-16 oz Frozen turkey meatballs (I used Trader Joe’s use your favorite brand)
-1 Jar of Rao’s marinara
-8 oz Chic Pea Pasta
-4 C Broccoli florets
-2 T water (to steam broccoli)
-1 T Olive oil
-2 t Garlic powder
-2 T Grated Parm cheese
-Salt & Pepper
Instructions
-Combine sauce & meatballs, simmer covered for 20 minutes
-Bring water to boil, add pasta and boil for 10 minutes
-Steam 4 C broccoli and 2 T water in microwave steamer, cook for 3 minutes
-Drain broccoli
-Season broccoli, oil, garlic, parm cheese, salt and pepper, mix well
-Drain pasta, rinse with hot water, drain well
-Combine pasta with sauce & meatballs, mix well
Makes 4 servings
