In India, particularly Maharashtra and Karnataka, this recipe is known as “Bhajji” rather than “Pakora”. Pakora is usually served as a snack with tea.

Ingredients for Bread Pakora/ Bhajji:
6 slices of Bread
Whole cumin seeds ¼ tsp
Garam Masala Powder ¼ tsp
Roasted Cumin and Coriander Powder ½ tsp
Pinch of Baking Soda
Pinch of Black Cumin Seeds
Salt to taste
Pinch of Black Pepper Powder
Turmeric Powder ½ tsp
1 Potato medium size, boiled and smashed
Tomato Sauce 1 tsp
Flour 1 tsp
Besan/ Gram Flour 1 bowl
