Say goodbye to store bought breads loaded with preservatives, palm oil and what not! Below is the detailed description of the recipe to follow.

Ingredients (for 2 people) –
Suji – 3/4 th cup ( half cup and 1/4 the cup)
Salt – less than 1/2 tsp
Sugar – 1/2 tbsp
Milk – a littlle less than 1/2 cup
Yeast – 1 tsp
Oil -3 to 4tbsp

Ingredients (for more than 2 people) –
Suji – 1.5 cup ( 1 cup and 1/2 cup)
Salt – 3/4 tsp
Sugar – 1 tbsp
Milk – 1 cup
Yeast – 2 tsp
Oil – around 5 tbsp

Prep yeast:
Mix sugar to lukewarm milk which will feed the yeast.
Make sure the milk is just lukewarm and NOT hot at all or else the yeast will die!!!
Once sugar dissolves mix the yeast and let it rest for 3-4 mins until frothy.
Meanwhile grind the suji into a fine powder and add the salt
Once the suji is prepped add the frothy yeast milk mixture and mix it well for 5 mins until it becomes thick
Transfer it to the kitchen counter and knead it until it forms a dough.(Around 20mins it may take). keep adding oil Little by little and once it comes to a dough you are good to go.
Cover and rest the dough for 1 to 2 hours until the dough doubles in size
Once ready Roll the dough using a rolling pin not. The thickness of this sheet can be 1 cm around not a problem, no need to roll very thin.
Once flat, start rolling the dough and pinch the end of dough roll to the dough surface as shown in video with each roll.
Once cylindrical dough is ready place it in the bread tin and cover it .
Preheat the oven at 180c for 10 mins
Let the dough rest in the tin for another 30 mins until it rises again
Once the oven and dough is ready, bake it for 20-25 mins at 180c.
Keep checking the bread after 20mins if its brown already as in my video then the bread is ready!!
