✨ Ragi Manni✨

Ragi manni is healthy sweet dish prepared in karnataka.its rich in fiber,calcium,minerals and tasty too 😋

▪️Ragi / Finger Millet – 1 cup
▪️Grated Coconut – 1 cup
▪️ Jaggery -3/4 cup
▪️Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
▪️Salt – 1 pinch
▪️Ghee – 2 tbsp
▪️Water -4 cups

Method :

▪️Wash 1 cup ragi until it gets transparent
▪️Soak overnight
▪️ Next day morning ino a blender add soaked ragi ,grated coconut & one small cup water and blend well
▪️Now strain the ragi milk with cloth
▪️Again add the remaining ragi extract into blender, add 1 cup water & blend it again for the milk .Repeat this process for 4 times.
▪️Now into a kadai add the ragi milk,pinch of salt ,cardamom powder , jaggery and keep mixing
▪️keep the flame low and mix well until it thickens ( it may take 10 mins)
▪️Add 2 tbsp ghee and mix well
▪️Grease plate with ghee and transfer the ragi pudding into it
▪️Let it cool down completely (1 hour or 2 hours)
▪️Cut into pieces and enjoy
