Gujrati Handvo recipe| healthy breakfast recipe with 2 vegetables|rich in protein, fibre & nutrients

Try this Gujrati delicacy for a healthy start to your day. Made with rice, lentils and veggies this breakfast recipe is a meal in itself. Packed with protein, fibre, vitamins & minerals this is a perfect recipe for those watching their cholesterol levels & trying to lose weight. You can experiment with different veggies, add masala to suit your taste buds.

I made 5 small Handvo with the below quantity, adjust accordingly based on your requirement. You can also refrigerate remaining Handvo batter for later use, don’t add vegetables if you are planning to store it.

Ingredients
– Rice 1cup
– Chana dal ½cup
– Arhar(toor) dal ¼cup
– Urad dal ¼cup
– Fenugreek (methi) seeds 2tsp
– Bottle gourd(grated) 1cup
– Carrot(grated) ½cup
– Green chilli 1tbsp
– Ginger(grated) 1tsp
– Coriander leaves 1tbsp
– Turmeric powder 1tsp
– Baking soda 1tsp
– Salt to taste
