Carrot cake ingredients:
225g self raising flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
50g light brown soft sugar
100g dark brown soft sugar
50g Walnuts chopped
75g raisins
300g Carrots grated
3 eggs
150ml Sunflower oil
Bake @ 180c/160c fan/gas mark 4 for 25-30 mins or skewer comes out clean.
Topping/icing:
100g butter
100g soft cheese
200g icing sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Chicken karahi ingredients:
Whole chicken in pieces (1.7kg)
2 sliced onions
3 tablespoon Sunflower oil
1 teaspoon each cumin seeds and coriander seeds
2 bay leaves
4 tomatoes
1 tablespoon garlic & ginger paste
1 tablespoon each garam masala, ground cumin, ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
300ml water
Banana loaf ingredients:
6 ripe bananas
3 eggs
3 tablespoons milk
200g self raising flour
50g oats
150g caster sugar
150g unsalted butter
Pinch of salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Sprinkle of cinnamon powder
Bake @ 200c/180c fan for 25 mins or until skewer comes out clean
Mackerel with rice and veg ingredients:
8 mackerel fillets with skin on (boneless)
1 teaspoon each salt, garlic granules, onion granules, smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Air fry @ 190c for 8 mins (skin side up)
For the veg & rice:
650g rice
500g mixed frozen veg
1 onion diced
1 teaspoon salt
1.3 litre water
Kebabs on flatbread ingredients:
1kg lamb mince
1 onion & 1 tomato (processed)
1 teaspoon each salt, garlic granules, paprika, red chilli flakes, oregano
1 egg
1/2 cup plain flour
