🌷Ingredients🌷
Brinjal 🍆 1 large size
Salt 1½ tsp
Red chilli powder ½tsp
Turmeric ½tsp
Coriander powder ½tsp
Cumin powder ½tsp
Chilli flakes ½tsp
Garlic powder ½tsp
Ajwain ¼tsp
Methi 1tsp
Orange food colour 1pinch
Gram flour ½cup
Cooking oil
🌷Method🌷
1. Wash the big brinjal/ aubergine and slice it into slices not thin nor thick, thin slices will be tough to flip and thick slices takes time to cook and won’t be that roasted/ fried.
2. Take a bowl of water, add 1tsp salt and mix well. Then soaked brinjal slices in water.
3. In a bowl add Gram flour and all spices. Mix it well.
4. Now add slices one by one and coat it well in masala.
5. Heat a pan with oil, then place individual slices of masala coated eggplant on the pan. Allow it to cook in low to medium flame. When one side looks cooked flip it gently and cook the other side. When both sides look cooked transfer it to a plate
6. Serve with chutney or ketchup.
