This sausage, egg & cheese bagel thin breakfast sandwich is simple, tasty, and is a filling 430 calorie breakfast with 50g of protein!
RECIPE
Ingredients:
1 large egg
5oz / 142g turkey sausage
3g Shredded Fat Free Cheddar
Garlic Salt
Black Pepper
1 Keto Bagel Thin
1 slice Kraft fat free American cheese
Hot Sauce
I Can’t Believe it’s not Butter spray
Cooking spray
BAGEL THIN:
Spray the inside of the bagel thin with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter Spray. Toast the bagel thin on a skillet at medium heat.
EGG:
Crack the egg into a bowl and add garlic salt and pepper to taste, and 3g of fat free shredded cheddar. Whisk egg thoroughly. Cook the egg on a skillet in a round silicone egg ring. When egg is halfway cooked, remove the ring and flip the egg to cook the other side. Add hot sauce to taste.
SAUSAGE:
Take 5oz of turkey sausage and make 2 patties. Cook them on a skillet, flipping halfway. Add a slice of fat free American cheese to one of the sausage patties.
ASSEMBLE SANDWICH:
Place the egg on the bottom half of the bagel thin, then add the sausage patty with the cheese, and then the remaining sausage patty. Top with the top half of the bagel thin and enjoy!
