Evening snacks
Ingredients :
Jaggery – 200g
Grated coconut – 250g
Banana leaves
Cardamom – 7-8 nos
Small banana – 5 nos
Cashew nuts – 100g
Ghee – 2 tsp
Dry grapes – 100g
Salt – 1 tsp
Roasted rava – 1/2 kg
Rice flour – 1 cup
Method :
First heat a pan and add jaggery with some water and let it dissolve
By that time grate coconut
Then drain the jaggery syrup
Now place the steaming pot on stove and then cut the banana leaves in to small pieces and steam it on the steaming pot and set it aside
Now make cardamom powder by grinding it on a grinding stone and set it aside
Then slice the banana in to small round pieces
Then cut the cashews by hand in to small pieces
Then heat a pan and add ghee
Then add cashews and saute it
Them add dry grapes and fry it and then remove from ghee and set it aside
Them add the sliced banana and saute it
Then add jaggery syrup and mix again
Then add the grated coconut with some salt and cardamom powder and then mix it well
Then add roasted rava and rice flour and mix well with a spatula
Now add the fried cashew and dry grapes in to it
Let it cool
Then take the banana leaf piece and spread it in the leaf and close it and keep it in a steamer and steam for a few minutes
