Healthy Banana Oat Bread Recipe:
Ingredients:
-1.5 cups organic regular oats
-1.5 cups milk (or dairy-free alternative)
-3 eggs
-2 medium-sized ripe bananas
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-1 tsp flavor extract (e.g., maple, cake batter, almond)
-1 tsp cinnamon
-1 tsp baking powder
Optional: ½ cup unsweetened coconut flakes, nuts (pecans, walnuts, almonds), chocolate chips, peanut butter, or cacao powder. Have fun!
Instructions:
-Preheat your oven to 360°F (182°C).
-Blend oats, milk, eggs, bananas, extracts, cinnamon, and baking powder in a food processor until smooth (about 20 seconds).
-Spray a 6-cup Pyrex or loaf pan with non-stick spray.
-Pour the batter into the pan and top with chopped nuts or chocolate chips.
-Bake for 40 minutes, checking with a toothpick to ensure it’s fully cooked.
-Let cool slightly, slice, and enjoy a wholesome, teen-approved snack
