With Republic Day coming up next week, I have come in time with a Tricolour Sandwich recipe that you can very simply put together to celebrate your healthy patriotism 🇮🇳 Whether a breakfast sandwich, or a snack, or and appetiser at your gathering these sandwiches are tasty and quite filling too. You can take this Ribbon sandwich up a notch by adding cheese, ham or luncheon to either layers, or create a third filling layer. Make it large😜
Mog Asum ❤️ Let There Be Love
1 US Cup = 240ml
Ingredients:
For the Green Coconut Chutney:–
1 Medium Onion, roasted and then diced
1 Cup fresh, grated Coconut
1 Cup fresh Coriander
1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
6 Black Peppercorns
4-5 Green Chilies (adjust as desired)
1/2″ Ginger
2 Garlic cloves
Lime-sized amount of Tamarind, soaked
1 Tablespoon Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Salt, or to taste
For the Orange (Carrot) chutney:–
2 Carrots, peeled
1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper Powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
2 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
12-15 Bread Slices (large)
Salted Butter (at room temperature)
