Corn Sandwich is very healthy and easy recipe, here’s a simple recipe for a delicious corn sandwich:

Serve – 2
Prep time – 15 minutes
Cook time – 5 to 10 minutes

Ingredients:

1.5 cup corn kernels, drained
1/2 cup water for boil
2 tsp butter
2 tsp chopped garlic
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 chopped green chili
1/2 tsp chili flakes
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp black pepper powder
Salt to taste
1/2 cup chopped tomato
Slices of your favorite bread
Butter for spreading

Instructions:

1. Boil the corn kernels in a pressure cooker in 1/2 cup water for 3 to 4 whistles on medium flame.
2. Heat the pan and add vegetable oil. Add the garlic. Saute for a few seconds.
3. Then add the corn kernels and stir for few minutes on low flame.
4. Add chopped onion and green chilli, saute for few minutes on medium flame.
5. Add chili flakes, oregano, black pepper powder and salt to taste.
6. Saute for few minutes on medium flame.
7. Switch off the flame.
8. Add the chopped tomatoes and mix very well.
9. Let it cool down the mixture.
10. Spread a thin layer of butter on one side of each slice of bread.
11. Place a generous amount of the corn mixture onto one slice of bread. If you’re adding cheese, tomatoes, or lettuce, you can layer them on top of the corn mixture.
12. Place another slice of bread on top to create a sandwich.
13. If you’d like, you can cut the sandwich into halves or quarters for easier handling.
14. Serve your corn sandwiches immediately, or wrap them in foil or plastic wrap for later. Enjoy!
