This oven-baked tilapia recipe is brought to you from my mother’s kitchen in Israel! It’s so easy to put together and is light, lemony, and so very healthy. I sure hope that you’ll give it a try!

INGREDIENTS…
Filet of tilapia (if you feel like you need to soak the fish to get rid of the smell or to clean it further, soak it for 15 minutes in a bowl of water with the juice of half a lemon and about a tablespoon of salt).
1 large bell pepper
Half a lemon, peeled and diced
7 garlic cloves, sliced
3 tablespoons of olive oil
Juice from half a lemon
Salt and black pepper to taste
For garnish: chopped cilantro or parsley and roasted sliced almonds
