Banana Kozhukattai Recipe | Easy & Healthy Sweet Kozhukattai | Traditional South Indian Snack

Ingredients :

Banana – 4 nos
Salt – 2 tsp
Coconut oil – 1 tsp
Rice flour – 1 bowl
Jaggery – 1 bowl
Grated coconut – 1 plate
Ghee – 1 tbsp
Cardamom powder – 1 tsp

Method :

Cut the banana in to 2 halves and keep them in a steamer and steam it
Then peel it and then smash it when its cooled down and set it aside
Then boil water and add salt and coconut oil in it and then add rice flour and mix it well
Then make a dough out of it
When it becomes warm add the smashed banana in it and mix well with hands
Then set it aside
Now heat a pan and add grated jaggery and a bit of water and make jaggery syrup
Then add grated coconut and mix well
Now add ghee and cardamom powder then remove from the stove
Then take one hand full of banana rice flour mixture and fill it with the jaggery and coconut mixture then make it round shape
Now preheat steaming pot and place them in it and steam for some minutes banana kozukkattai is ready
