Rava Ela Adai

Ingredients :

-Rava / sooji 1 cup
-Jaggery /palm jaggery 1 cup
-Water 1 & 1/2 cup
-Cardamom powder 1/4 tsp
-Coconut grated 3 tbsp
-Coconut finely chopped 2 tbsp
-Ghee 1 tsp

👉Boil  1 cup jaggery in 1 & 1/2  of  water on low flame  until jaggery dissoles completely.

👉heat a pan add ghee, roast finely chopped coconut  once it fried add rava and roast until turns aromatic .

👉 Filter jaggery  syrup into rava and cook on low flame .

👉once starts  thickening, turn off flame,  add cardamom powder and grated coconut .

👉once after it cools down, take a small ball,  flatten into the banana leaves by applying some ghee or oil and steam it for 10 minutes on medium flame.
