Cinnamon Rolls – This warm dessert is sure to be a big hit. In the pan of your bread machine you should put a cup of warm milk, two eggs, one third a cup of melted butter, four and a half cups of bread flower, one teaspoon of salt, half a cup of white sugar and two and a half teaspoons of bread maker yeast.

If you’re not sure what order to put them in, check the manufacturer’s instructions. Select a dough cycle, and press Start.

Once the dough’s size has doubled, scoop it out onto a surface dusted with flour, cover it, and let it rest for ten minutes.

While it’s resting, combine one cup of brown sugar and two and a half tablespoons of ground cinnamon in a bowl.

After your dough has rested, roll it into a rectangle – about sixteen by twenty one inches wide or similar.

Spread the dough with one third of a cup of softened butter, then sprinkle the cinnamon mixture over it.

Now, roll the dough up and cut it into twelve slices. Place these in a greased pan; nine by thirteen inches or so is ideal.

Cover the pan, and while you’re waiting for the dough to rise (this will take half an hour), preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius.

To make a frosting for your rolls while you bake them, use an egg beater to combine a package of softened cream cheese, one fourth of a cup of butter, one and a half cups of confectioners’ sugar, half a teaspoon of vanilla extract, and one eighth a teaspoon of salt.

The rolls should bake for about fifteen minutes – then you can spread the frosting on them, and serve.

French Bread – An old favorite, this makes a wonderful addition to pasta.

Put one and one fourth a cup of water, two teaspoons of sugar, one teaspoon of salt, three and a half cups of bread flour, and one and a half teaspoons of bread maker yeast in the bread machine pan.

Again, the order you do this in may vary depending on your brand. Start your dough cycle – check after five minutes or so and see if you need to add water or flour.

After the cycle is done, turn the dough out onto a floured surface and divide it in half. Roll each half into a rectangle, about ten inches by eight inches. Then, roll these up like you would a jelly roll, starting with the long side.

Pinch the seams so that they’re sealed shut. Now take a greased baking sheet, and sprinkle it with a tablespoon of cornmeal. Place your loaves seam down on a prepared pan. Then, cover them, and wait about twenty minutes for them to rise.

Whisk one egg and one tablespoon of water; this is to make a glaze. Brush it over the tops of the loaves. Then, with a sharp knife, makes four shallow slashes across the loaves.

Finally, bake your french bread at about 375 degrees, and for twenty to twenty-five minutes.
