Ivy gourd 65 – Air fried.
Recipe
Ivy gourd 200 gms – wash and discard the ends. Cut them into thin slices as shown in the video. Place them in a steamer for 5 mins or until cooked it should have a slight crunch.
Cool it for 10 to 15 mins
In a mixing bowl add the cooled ivy gourd. Add 1.5 tbsp of gram flour, 0.5 tbsp rice flour, 1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder, 1 tsp chilli powder,0.5 tsp cumin powder, turmeric powder, salt.
Sprinkle very little water if needed to coat the masala on the veggie.
Pre heat the air fryer . Now place the ivy gourd on the rack (do not over crowd them). Allow it to air fry for 10 mins at 200 C. Check them in the middle of the process and give a stir.
If not done properly allow it to air fry for two to five mins more. Timing may differ with each air fryer
Optional
In a pan add little oil fry 1 tbsp of peanut and 1 strand of curry leaves. (You can even air fry peanut and curry leaves) Mix with the ivy gourd before serving.
