⚪FULL RECIPE⚪
~ INGREDIENTS ~
– ½ or 1 shallot
– 2 garlic cloves
– ½ c mushrooms (optional)
– 1 lbs (453 g) 93/7 ground turkey
– 18 large eggs (Grade A)
– 2 16 oz (454 g) containers of 2% fat cottage cheese (Daisy, preferred)
– 1 12 oz (340 g) package of frozen broccoli florets, steamed (or other voice veggie)
– 2 tsp (~ 12 g) salt
– 1 tsp (3 g) white pepper
– 3 tsp or 1 Tbsp (3 g) rubbed sage
~ INSTRUCTIONS ~
– Mince shallots and garlic and roughly chop mushrooms
– Set oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)
– Cook turkey and prepared veggies and season with salt, sage, and white pepper
– Scrabble cracked eggs and whisk in cottage cheese and meat and mushroom mix
– Add in steamed broccoli or other veggie and transfer to a 9×13-inch (or approximately 23×33 cm) glass baking dish
– Place dish in oven and let cook for 40 minutes, or until quiche firms up and browns on top
