Patta Gobi Thalipeeth recipe:

Ingredients:

1 cup grated cabbage (patta gobi)

½ cup wheat flour

½ cup gram flour (besan)

½ cup jowar flour

1-2 green chilies (finely chopped)

1 tsp cumin seeds

½ tsp turmeric powder

½ tsp red chili powder

½ tsp coriander powder

½ tsp carom seeds (ajwain) (optional)

Salt to taste

Water as needed

Oil for cooking

Instructions:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine grated cabbage, wheat flour, gram flour, and jowar flour.

2. Add green chilies, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, ajwain (if using), and salt.

3. Gradually add water and knead into a soft dough. Let it rest for 10 minutes.

4. Divide the dough into equal portions and flatten each portion into a thick roti-like shape.

5. Heat a tawa (griddle) and cook each thalipeeth on medium flame with a little oil until golden brown on both sides.

6. Serve hot with curd or Chutney
