I shared healthy Indian traditional breakfast for all age group. Ragi and kambu kool recipe. If you plan to stop breast feeding for your baby, this one is best compensation drink. Try this one for your baby to be very healthy and strong. It increases babies bone strength and control blood sugar level and also increases hemoglobin level in blood. Much more minerals and antioxidant is there in this drink. So have this drink atleast twice in a week.
Preparation:
Soaked overnight ragi and kambu(pearl millet) for same amount of measurement. The next day morning filter the water and grind it into a fine paste. Adding this paste to the hot pan, mix well with enough water and continuosly stirring to avoid lumps. After 15 to 20 mins its cooked well and the colour of the mixture changed into dark brown. Turned off the flame. let it cooled down.
Once its cooked down, add curd and chopped small onion or shallots , add salt for your taste. Now it’s ready to drink. It goes well with dried cluster beans, dried chilly, mangoes and pickle.
