How to make bread easily and quickly without a bread maker? When you need a quick breakfast or snack, or want an easy accompaniment to your main dish or soup, this recipe will show you how to get everything done within a matter of minutes! The recipe is vegetarian (no eggs), low in sugar (less than 2g of sugar per piece) and high in fibre (50% whole-wheat), and you can easily vary the flavours to make your (or your kids’) favourites!

We will show how to make the basic plain bread, and also two variations: chocolate bread and cheese bread! So you have something that satisfies both sweet and savoury preferences. The plain bread is excellent with soup or on the side of a main dish – perfect for scooping up sauces – or as an appetizer served with butter or olive oil. The flavoured breads make a great fast all-in-one snack for toddlers and kids (adults too!), or as a speedy breakfast on a rushed morning.

– Can substitute the whole-wheat for 100% bread (or white) flour / 全粒粉の代わりに100%強力粉を使っても大丈夫です。
– Can increase sugar to 20g is you prefer a sweeter bread / かなりお砂糖を控えめにしているので甘いパンが好きな方は20gに増やしてください。
– For efficiency, while resting the dough in the microwave, start to preheat oven and prepare stuffing / 生地をレンジの中で休ませている間にオーブンの予熱や中に入れる具材を準備しておくとスムーズです。
– Putting aluminium foil under the baking sheet prevents over-browning of the bottom / ベーキングシートの下にアルミホイルをひくと底が焦げたり、色がつきすぎてしまうのを防いでくれます。
