Kashmiri Dum Aloo ek mashhoor aur swadisht Kashmiri dish hai jo chhote alooon ko dahi aur masalon mein dum pe paka kar banayi jaati hai. Iski khasiyat hai iska laal rang, ghanapan aur thoda teekha taste – jo Kashmiri laal mirch se aata hai. Ye dish na pyaaz na lehsun se banti hai, phir bhi iska taste lajawab hota hai. Kashmiri dum aloo ko mostly roti, naan ya chawal ke saath serve kiya jaata hai.
Chhote aloo tal kar ek masaledar dahi based gravy mein dum pe pakte hain, jisse unka swaad aur bhi gehra ho jaata hai. Is dish mein hing, saunf powder, dry ginger powder jaise unique Kashmiri masale use hote hain jo isse baaki dum aloo se alag banate hain.
