Easy High Protein Butter Garlic Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

– 500g chicken (boneless, cut into cubes or strips)
– 1 tsp salt (for marinating)
– 1 tbsp lemon juice
– 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste (optional, helps with texture but can be skipped for lower carbs)
– 1 tsp cornflour
– 2 tbsp butter
– 2-3 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
– 1 tsp black pepper (or to taste)
– Salt (to taste)
– 1 tsp chili flakes (optional, or to taste)
– 2-3 green chilies (optional, sliced)
– Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)
– Spring onions (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

Marinate the Chicken:

– In a bowl, combine the chicken with salt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, and cornflour (optional).
– Let it marinate for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavours.

Cook the Chicken:
– In a pan, heat the butter over medium heat.
– Add the freshly chopped garlic and sauté until golden brown and aromatic.
– Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry for a few minutes until it’s cooked through and slightly golden on the outside.

Season and Garnish:
– Once the chicken is cooked, add black pepper, salt (to taste), chilli flakes, and green chilies (if using). Stir to coat the chicken in the seasonings.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and spring onions (if desired).

– Serve hot with rice, naan, or as a standalone dish.
