High Protein Pav Bhaji Recipe! 🧈🍞
Street food with a healthy twist – loaded with veggies & each pav packs ~6g of protein! 💪
Perfect for guilt-free cravings 😋
🧄 Ingredients:
5 tomatoes
1 small cauliflower
3 medium capsicums
3 potatoes
1 cup green peas
4–5 green chillies
1-inch ginger + 6 garlic cloves (make a paste)
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp pav bhaji masala
1/4 tsp turmeric
Salt to taste
Butter for toasting pav
Protein pav (6g protein per piece!)
🍳 Recipe:
1️⃣ Pressure cook cauliflower, capsicum, peas & potatoes on medium flame – don’t throw the water!
2️⃣ Boil the tomatoes separately and make a puree
3️⃣ In a pan, heat oil and add the ginger-garlic-chilli paste
4️⃣ Add red chilli powder, pav bhaji masala & turmeric
5️⃣ Add tomato purée and sauté till it turns reddish and leaves oil
6️⃣ Add the mashed cauliflower-capsicum mixture, boiled potatoes & peas
7️⃣ Pour in the veggie stock (from the boiled veggies)
8️⃣ Let it simmer and thicken – adjust salt
9️⃣ Toast your protein pav in butter 🧈
🔟 Plate it hot with lemon, chopped onions & coriander 🌿
