I’ve always loved Raising Cane’s, but let’s be real, the calories add up quick. One combo can easily hit over 1,500 to 2500 calories without even trying… and that doesn’t work when you’re trying to stay lean and hit your physique goals whilst still enjoying food.
So I went out, grabbed the original, broke it all down, and then recreated it, crispy tenders, Cane’s-style sauce, and all with a fraction of the calories (and more protein).
I got the chicken down to 90 calories per tender, and the sauce to 28 calories. It’s not exact, but honestly, it’s close enough that you won’t even care once you taste it.
In this video, I’ll show you:
How I made high-protein air fryer chicken tenders
What I used instead of breadcrumbs to save calories
Two much lower calorie Cane’s-style sauce options
This is the kind of stuff I wish I had when I first started meal prepping, simple meals that hit your cravings without destroying your macros.
