Weight Loss Paneer Tikka Recipe | Veg Recipes for Fat Loss | Indian Fastest Diet by Richa Kharb
🔥 Paneer Tikka for Weight Loss on a traditional coal BBQ! Whether you’re on a picnic or at home, this high-protein vegetarian recipe helps you lose weight while enjoying delicious food.
🍴 Ingredients (For 4-5 Servings)
For Marination:
– Paneer (Cottage Cheese) – 1 kg (cut into big cubes, at room temperature)
– Curd (Dahi, full-fat and homemade preferred) – 1/2 cup
– Meat Masala – 1 tsp (optional for flavour, even in veg use)
– Kitchen King Masala – 1 tsp
– Red Chili Powder – 1/2 tsp
– Haldi (Turmeric) – 1/4 tsp
– Salt – to taste
– Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
– Ajwain (Carom seeds) – 1/2 tsp (Must for flavour & digestion)
– Desi Ghee / Coconut Oil / Melted Butter – 1 tbsp (any one as healthy fat)
For Tikka Veggies:
– Onion – 2 medium (cut into cubes)
– Tomato – 2 medium (de-seeded and cubed)
– Capsicum (Green, Red, Yellow) – 2 each (cubed)
– Lemon Juice – 1 tsp (optional before serving)
🔪 Preparation Steps
✅ Step 1: Prepare the Paneer
– Use homemade or good-quality paneer (avoid adulterated/store-bought if possible).
– Cut into big cubes (so that they stay on skewers properly).
– Dry the paneer cubes completely using tissue paper — no water/moisture should be left.
✅ Step 2: Make the Marination Paste
In a large mixing bowl:
– Add curd.
– Add meat masala, kitchen king masala, red chili powder, haldi, ginger-garlic paste, ajwain, and salt.
– Mix well.
– Add 1 tbsp desi ghee or coconut oil (or melted butter). Mix again to form a thick, smooth marination paste.
✅ Step 3: Marinate Paneer & Vegetables
– Add the dry paneer cubes into the marination bowl.
– Add chopped veggies (capsicum, tomato, onion).
– Mix gently with hands/spoon to coat everything evenly.
– Cover and let it rest for 20-30 minutes (minimum) at room temperature.
✅ Step 4: Prepare for Barbecue
– Skewer the marinated paneer and veggies alternately (capsicum, onion, paneer, tomato… repeat).
– Ensure everything is coated well and tightly placed.
✅ Step 5: Cook on Coal / Barbecue / Grill Pan
– If using coal barbecue, wait until coal turns white hot.
– Place skewers on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes each side until charred slightly.
– You can brush with a little ghee or coconut oil if needed while grilling.
– If using an oven, grill at 200°C for 15-20 minutes, flipping once midway.
✅ Step 6: Serve Hot
– Sprinkle lemon juice and chaat masala (optional).
– Serve with mint chutney made with curd, mint, coriander, ginger, and ajwain (no sugar, no honey, no oil).
💡 Weight Loss Tips While Eating This Paneer Tikka:
– Eat only when truly hungry, don’t eat for taste.
– Chew slowly and stop before you’re full.
– Avoid roti/rice/bread with it — this is a complete meal in itself.
– Stay hydrated and walk after eating.
