Yo everyone, what’s up? So, today’s video is based around rules to build muscle fast whilst staying lean aka a lean bulk. And if you are here for any of the following reasons, make sure you stick around:

So, to build muscle fast, there are some main factors you need to consider, and I do my best to provide an overview with 4 rules that I chat about throughout the video. So, my first two rules are based around nutrition and they include eating in a SLIGHT calorie surplus and following a high protein diet. So, in my opinion, eating in a slight calorie surplus is absolutely necessary to optimise the muscle growth process, and seeing as it is only a very small amount above your maintenance calories (aka a lean bulk), you are minimising fat gain as much as possible. And then in terms of protein, I chat about the protein pyramid of importance and what you need to focus on the most.
And then, my final 2 tips are workout tips and these include focusing more on your training than your physique, thinking quality over quantity when it comes to your workouts, and also tracking your lifts. So bulking can be a difficult time for some as they fear gaining excess fat. But I have found that simply looking at yourself in the mirror a little less/taking progress pictures less often etc takes a lot of the pressure off and it’s a good idea to use that energy to focus more on getting as strong as possible on your lifts. And one of the most common mistakes I see is people doing waaay too much volume (as opposed to focusing on a set group of exercises) and as a result, they’re leaving some gains on the table, despite it actually feeling like they’re doing more.
And on a separate note, as well as these rules, I show you 3 more of my low-calorie high protein meals. So, the homemade healthy spice bag steals the show with 527 calories, 70g carbs, 4g fat, and 55g protein. But I also make a delicious egg & prawn mayonnaise dish with 355 calories, 11g carbs, 14g fat, and 44g protein and a low-calorie overnight oats recipe with 505 calories, 52g carbs, 7g fat, and 47g protein.
