Homemade Beef Roast recipe:
Beef Eye of Round Roast:
– preheat oven to 450F. (I used convection bake oven).
– Wash your beef and pat dry.
– Mix your spices (I used salt, pepper, and Brown Butter Roasted Garlic seasoning)
– Place beef into greased roasting pan, and spread the spice mixture all around, rubbing it in.
– Roast the eye of round uncovered on center rack for 20-25 min or until browned all over top and bottom.
– Reduce oven temp to 325F and continue to cook the beef uncovered for 45-60 minutes, just until it reaches 125F in the center of the roast.
– Remove roast from the oven, covering the pan very well with a lid (or foil), and let the beef roast rest for 20-30 minutes so it can raise it’s internal temp another 10-15 degrees or so, to medium-rare.
– Then wait until it cools, slice and enjoy!
– ( I refrigerated the part for about 1 hour in order for it to run smoothly through the electric slicer)
