Salad Recipe
Moong sprouts : 1 cup
Onion :1
Tomato: 1
Cucumber : 1/2
Carrot : 1 ( grated )
Fresh coriander
Salt to taste
Chat masala : 1 tsp
Red chilli 1/4 tsp
Green chilli : 1
fresh mint leaf
Juice of 1 Lemon
Making of the sprouts
Rinse a cup of mung dal with cold water. now soak it with plenty of water, at least double the amount of dal & let it soak for 6-8 hours.
once soaked drain out the water.
Take a tray put a damp cloth and spread the soaked dal evenly. Cover with another piece of cloth or duster and place it in a warm place.
You will start to see tiny sprouts in just 12 hours. now at this point you may keep them in the refrigerator and use them whenever required. Or leave them for 4-5 hours more to grow.
here is a very simple salad with sprouted moong dal.
Take sprouted moong dal, add veggies like carrot cucumber onions and tomato, add salt pepper some herbs and juice of one lemon
and there you have a delicious bowl of salad ready to serve
