Home Made Paneer Subway 🥪
Weekend cravings means this wholesome, healthy, and super yum Paneer Subway Sandwich! ✨🫶🏻
I end up making this so often especially when I’m tempted to order a sub but want to skip the indulgence. It’s fresh, flavourful, and honestly… such a banger. Trust me, you’ll love it! 💥
Ingredients:
🧀 2/3 cheese slices (roughly torn)
🌿 Italian seasoning – to taste
🥄 1 tbsp mayonnaise
🍅 1/2 tbsp ketchup
🍋 Juice of 1/2 lemon
🧊 100g paneer (cut into strips)
🌽 1/4 cup boiled corn
To Assemble:
🥬 Lettuce
🧀 Marinated paneer-corn mix
🥒 Cucumber slices
🫑 Capsicum slices
🫒 Olives
🌶 Jalapeños
🍶 Sauces:
🌶 Chilli sauce
🔥 Sriracha mayo
(Any other sauces of your choice)
Method:
-Cut your subway bread into 2 halves and layer cheese slices on it and toast it until the cheese melts
-then grill your paneer with some Italian seasonings
-in a bowl add 1 tbsp mayonnaise, 1/2 tbsp ketchup, juice of 1/2 lemon and salt and mix well
-then add boiled corn to it and the grilled panner and coat it really well
-now, take your sub, assemble it with veggies of choice and start layering with fresh lettuce, then add the grilled paneer-corn mixture. Top it with sliced cucumber, capsicum, olives, and jalapeños.
-Drizzle chilli sauce and sriracha mayo over the filling (or any other sauces of your choice).
-Wrap the sandwich tightly in parchment or foil.
Cut into halves and serve fresh and enjoy!!
